The boy ran through the wet, metal floors of the sewer, the sounds echoing with each step. Once he knew the man was out of sight, he sat down to catch his breath. He felt his head where he had shot himself, only to find no hole. 'Maybe it was somewhere else.' He thought as he brushed his hand in every spot to only find his head with no dent. "This is probably a hallucination. I should eat something." He said quietly to himself. He slung his bag so it was infront of him only to realize that he left it open. He quickly rumudged through his bag, hoping to find anything that could've been left behind, but was out of luck. The only thing still in the bag was his Swiss army knife which he taped to the side of the bag. He ripped the knife out and placed it in his hands. "Did I....Actually die?" He whispered, twisting the blade in his hand. He gripped the handle tightly. "Only one way to find out." He quickly stabbed himself in the heart.

The pain coursed through his body for what seemed like hours, until his breaths shortened and all life left his body. He fell limp again, but the world wasn't all black again. Instead, he felt like he had woken up. He looked around at his new surrondings. It was the sewer, but not where he was. He looked down at his hands, except they weren't hands. They were stuffed paws from his teddy bear. He screamed and jumped back, the scream bouncing off the walls. "Is something wrong? What happened?" Said a stranger's voice followed by loud footsteps. And in came the same man with his orange ponytailed hair and dirty sweatshirt. The man looked around. "Hey, where are you?" The man asked looking around for the cause of the noise. He then saw the bear looking up at him. The man walked up to the bear and picked him up. "You belonged to that strange boy, right?" He asked himself. "Duh." The bear answered. The man dropped the bear and screamed, and as if on cue, the boy was alive again.

After he woke up, he felt his heart, and sure enough, there was no stab wound, but blood spilling everywhere around him. "Am I dreaming?" He said, and so did someone else. He looked to where the voice came from, and heard someone coming. And soon, the man was near him. He tried to get up and run, but the man got to him first, holding tightly onto his wrist. "Get away from me!" The boy screamed, trying to free himself. "I need to ask you something." The man said, calmly, which was strange since he's seen a talking bear, and someone dying, then come back to life. "Are you going to kill me?" The boy asked. "Why would I do that?" The man asked. "You saw it, didn't you?!" The boy yelled. "I just died! TWICE!! I'm some sort of freak!" The man put his other hand on his shoulder. "Calm down there, kid. I don't want to kill you. In fact, it's the complete opposite. I want to help you." The boy shook his hands off of him. "And why should I trust you?!" He asked, angrily.

The man smiled. "Because I'm like you." Then, a white light surronded him. The boy stepped back a bit, in awe of what had just materialized. After a couple seconds, the light faded, and the man's hair had turned white. "So, you have magical hair dye?" He asked. The man chuckled. "Not exactly. My abilitiy is having infite knowledge. For example, you left your house last night and ran from home because you hated your parents. And you left a note on your kitchen table saying, 'I left. Don't come find me. Have a fun time in he.ll' With a crudley drawn skull at the bottom. Am I correct?" He boy looked at him in awe. "How did you know that?"
"Like I said. Infinte knowledge." He responded as his hair went back to his orange color. "Now, if you can follow me, I'll show you to where you'll be staying." He said as he started to walk away. "Wait, when did that happen? And where is this place anyway?" He asked.

"You ask a lot of questions, don't you?" He said as he smirked softly. "Well, we are going to a place where people with supernatural abilities can live in peace and harmony. And we've known that you've had an ability ever since you were born, but we've been waiting to tell you until you came here." The boy just shook his head. "First, that is really creepy and Two, I can live just fine on my own. I don't need your help." The man stopped, then looked back at him. "Yeah, like you can live in a sewer off of granola bars for the rest of your life. Now, let's go. Everyone else if waiting for you." The boy sighed. "Fine." He walked up to the man, and they began walking together. The man smiled. "I'm White, by the way. And You?"
"Jisatsu." He answered. White smiled, the handed his the ragged stuffed bear. "You dropped this. I thought you might want it back." Jisatsu took the bear, and held it close to him. "Thanks." White smiled. "No problem."

After walking for about a half an hour, they stopped infront of circular door. "Here we are." White said as they approached it. "So this home is in the sewer?" Jisatsu asked. "Gross."
"It's a lot better once you come in." He said as he opened the large door. Jisatsu walked through the door and saw a massive room that looked like the where the pilots are in the star treck. There was buttons and gadgets almost everywhere, it would seem impossible to know what you were doing. At the front of the room were two people. One was on the floor, playing with what looked like ice crystals. He must have been hallucinating, but he looked like he had black ears on top of his head. The other was at a control panel, his fingers dashing through every key and button at lightning speed. White walked up behind Jisatsu and placed his hand on his shoulder, making him jump. White then looked at the other two. "Hey Arin, Yukio, I got someone for you." The two of them looked up at Jisatsu, then walked to him.

The smaller boy waved at Jisatsu shyly. The other boy smiled entusiasticly at him. "Hello there, kid! You must be our new member, am I right?" He asked, offering his hand. Jisatsu nodded. "I'm Jisatsu." He said, shaking his hand. "What is this place?"
"I'm glad you asked!" Arin exclaimed. "This is the main control hub of the Supernatural Spciety, which is what we call this place. Here, we moniter everyone's well being and saftey, and try to keep everyone feel at home as possible." He explained, pointing at different screens. Now that Jisatsu was close to him, he noticed strange things about Arin. He was wearing a lot of armor, as if he would have to fight someone in the next 24 hours. Then, his hair seemed odd. Where his part is, There is brunnete hair, while the rest of his hair is blonde. It was odd, but made him lose focus from what he was saying. It was probably just more explanations on what this whole society thing was.

Arin looked back at Jisatsu. "You should get some rest, kid. You look tired." Jisatsu snapped back to reality. "Yeah, I didn't exactly sleep the greatest last night." Arin nodded. "Well, you should get to your room, now. Yukio should show you the way, since you'll be roomates and all." He explained as he pointed to Yukio. "Sounds good." Jisatsu said. Arin smiled. "Yukio, you have the rest of the day off. If you could show Jisatsu around the facility, that would be great." Yukio nodded, the walked towards a portal looking thing. 'This really is like Stat Trek.' Jisatsu thought, as he followed Yukio towards the portal. Soon, they dissapeared and went into the facility.
White walked up close to Arin. "So, what's the boy's ability?" Arin asked. "I'm not quite sure. It's nothing I've ever seen before." Arin looked at him curiosly. "What do you mean?" White sighed. "Well, from what I can tell, he has some kind of regeneration power, but a very strong one."

"The thing is," White explained. "He killed himself twice, but as you can see, he's perfectly fine. Then, the bear he keeps carrying around came to life and started talking." Arin nodded. "That is definetley strange. I'll keep an eye on him. But, so will you. I'll have you assigned as his mentor if that's okay with you." White nodded. "I was thinking the same thing." He started walking towards the portal, then stopped and looked at Arin. "You don't think those two will be connected, right?" Arin shook his head. "No one will know for sure, but I sure hope not." White nodded as he went through the portal.
