#Horses #Skyrim #Hero #Mare #BlackHorse #Maethor. In Skyrim, I am Indilwen the Wood Elf riding on my horse of Whiterun, Maethor. Most might find this pathetic, but, Maethor has always been there for me. I never fight a dragon or monster without riding my trusty mare. I remember one time I dismounted to harvest some Mountain Flowers. I was facing towards a calm, small river. I turned around to mount her again when out of the blue a Saber Cat leaps at me. Before I could even unsheathe my weapon, Maethor chargers and attacks the beast. I step in after pulling out my sword and began attacking it. Once it lied dead, I turned to see Maethor killing another Saber Cat.... This horse is dear to me and has saved my life in many occasions. It would be extremely difficult to play the game without her.
