Needing a car, my bf threatening to leave me because I'm not going anywhere in life but I'm kind of stuck, my mother giving me opposite orders he is and he's gonna end up leaving me by the time I finally have a car (if I ever get one with the way it's going). I'm about ready to just go against her ridiculous demands and buy one on my own

She said "If you save up X amount of money we can go get you a car". I'm at X amount of money now and she went back on her word. "Get a second job or wait 8 more months". I don't freaking have that time! He'll have left me by then and my sense of purpose will have completely rotted away with no hope. I swear she's just holding me back

I think deep down inside part of this may have to do with her being reluctant to let her only daughter grow up. Just a premonition. But as for that and everything else... Phew, I suddenly feel the need to pray another rosary for you. ^-^'

But if she doesn't let me grow up I'll never do anything in life. I wish she'd stop being overly involved. This is why deep down I don't want my own kids
