why does this monster exist by Azire
I keep getting my butt whooped by this stupid pickle monster
last time I was so close to killing it but then the timer was all like NOPE
WHY IS THERE EVEN A TIMER
and this is in the single player mode so I can't get any help ;n;

Yeah, the death pickle gave me some trouble in 3U. Just try on getting some armor that has good dragon resistance and overall defense

Murder pickle was a monster I thought I'd never beat solo hunting when it first appeared in MH3.
Something that might help is aiming for an armor set with evasion 3 (if possible, I suggest Stygian Zinogre). Then just take some time practicing evading its attacks.
Gaijin Hunter released a video not long ago with tips about how to learn a new monsters moves.
