For this prompt, I opted for a realistic, everyday horror that doesn't get much attention: poaching.
Elephants are poached for their ivory tusks, which can weigh up to two hundred lbs. On the black market,one pound of ivory fetches as much as fifteen hundred $. Unfortunately, poaching methods are inhumane, and sometimes the elephant is left alive and in excruciating pain, half its face missing (as depicted).

@_Coffee_ mostly squirrels, but also turkey, and deer! part of why i hunt is because i want to make sure they dont starve to de.ath. too much population of turkeys or whatever will make them get diseases or starve. so actually its a better end to their life (in the right proportions and seasons ofc!)
