Next dragon you draw has to have tongue action! (For anyone reading this, lolol)
I redesigned him a bit, put gaps in the side of his plating that reveals his muscle tissue underneath. No green tint on the spikes. Made his melon bigger. Fixed his spiked plating, instead of laying flat, it pokes up like you see here.

I love the shapes and texture on his skin, and everything looks awesome in general! The next dragon I will be drawing would not look good with "tongue action", so I'll have to pass on this challenge. XD

Re: Ah yeah, I get that. Kjumper has been my inspiration for at least three years, but every now and then she'll post a painting that just flattens my hopes of surpassing her. XD
When I see awesome art, it inspires me to try harder and improve, but when I see too much perfect art, I become discouraged and start thinking that I'll never get that good. I just forget the fact that it's practice and experience that gets you that far.
