Bresha Ruins by utena11221
So, this is my first try with scenery... I thought I'd practice seeing how I have a few projects that need backgrounds and all... I opened my Final Fantasy XIII-2 Collectors guide book and started looking through concept art, and Bresha Ruin's looked the easiest. So, I looked at it and sketched it out. Unfortunatly, I couldn't add the rain, because I suck with water... another thing I gotta study *sigh* Please, I could use all the help I can get, so if you have any tips, please leave some!!

just use the sketch trick, but brite blue,& transparent and just randomly draw short lines

i think he means like wat you do when you draw people. sketch the outline of the shapes/objects(like the ruins and rocks), and go over it when youre done. JUST LIKE PEOPLE!XD

im not good at backgrounds at all. but i'm practicing on it! at least with Colors! you're not waistng paper

its for rain. just draw the main drawing, then take the airbrush[on the smallest size] set it to a brite blueish-white[at the half mark on the transparency scale] and just draw lines as desired. if you still don't get it, tell me ill do it
