A Taupe wouldn't necessairily die from a deep cut if its attended to with proper haste.
But when a Taupe's heart ceases to beat, thier heart bursts, and blood flies out of thier every orifice. :<
Imagine enemies in a Zelda title. When Link goes around killing Octoroks or PETA-brainwashed knights, they dissapear in a dark cloud. Except instead of money or health, Typians leave family and a corpse behind.
