w-...where did Shade get that coat? It was a gift, wasn't it. I bet I know who it was from.
I'm already familiar with those symbols and what they might foretell, but I'M GETTING SOMEWHERE WITH THE EYE COLOR. There is only one other occurence out there of them being this color

Older pictures of some guy have the same markings as Shade, but in white. Dunno if he was redesigned, or if it has plot relevance.
(tbh I don't know too much about this story, so I'm just throwing things at a wall to see what sticks.)
