*Nearly all the team is in various tents, but most notably Engineer and Medic are in the biggest tent where they are experimenting with a Teleporter and a small artificial rock made to reproduce the effects of Australium on the teleporter. Oh, Cathode and Spy are there, too.*

*Outside, Soldier is patrolling with his shotgun in hand, and RPG slung around his back*

Soldier: Hut! Two! Three! Four! Hut! Two! Three! Four! *Repeating endlessly as he passes by the Level 3 Sentry*

Also... I might try shipping RED Spy x Cathode. XD Idk why it just seems fitting. XD

Kimi: *sees soldier* *caring, kind, and sorta hard to hear voice* hello?

Kimioko: okay, thank you. *nods my head slightly and starts to walk past Soldier, still holding my 10 by 12 inch sketchbook under my left arm*

I'm kind of trying to pull together a group of characters for the fictional team-based online multiplayer shooter of our characters I have in mind. Basically, there's the Resistence and the Chaos Order. There's 9-10 generic-ish "classes" in each faction, and at least one "boss character" version who does their job better, has more health, firepower, etc. There's a second level of "Boss characters" which do a little bit of everything, and then one final "Boss" character who's simply a fast tanker and massive damage dealer (for example, Vaiden is the strongest Boss character for the Chaos Order). So Roxxy might be the "Boss" version of the Medic for the Resistence, and Cathode a "Boss" version of the Rocketeer Soldier for the Resistence.

Medic: Cathode, I simply am in LOVE with your tissue sample! Everyzhing about your flesh is remarkable! *Preparing a tissue sample of one of the teammates, although his mind is overcome by the analysis of Cathode's tissue sample from much earlier*

Cathode: Mmhm... You and our scientists could probably learn a lot from each other. Still amazed at that Uberheart you showed me.

Medic: Ah, yes... Well, about zhat...

Kimioko: *not really sure what to do and just looks around for anyone outside tents she wouldn't have to talk through a tent wall to*

Spy: *Opens up his Disguise Kit and pulls out a ci..gar,.ette and hands it to Cathode*

Basically, characters like Cathode, Natasha, and Roxxy are part of their side's elite group. Some characters are even stronger than that and one of them is the strongest one in the fictional game.

Soldier: ... The door is to your right flank.

Engineer: Well, if you don't mind me askin', what's your background on sciency stuff like this? I mean ah have 11 PHDs and all this dimensional stuff is fairly beyond me.

Kimi: I'm not very good with science but I can tell you a lot about deminsions.

Engineer: Well then, I think we'll able to learn a lot from each other.
Cathode: Engie's - or "Dell's" 0- experimental Teleporter that sent them all here ran on this element from their universe called "Australium", so he showed me the data he had on its properties and I had my scientists see if they could whip up an imitation of it.
Engie: We already installed it as part of the power source for the Teleporter Entrance and Exit, and I think I've corrected the issue that made it explode on us the first time and send us all here. We're just about to do some testing with a tissue sample.

*On the work table, there is a Teleporter Entrance and a Teleporter Exit about a foot away from each other. Both are under a reinforced transparent casing with a flip top on it. It has a few circuits running across it that are meant to basically prevent any dimensional stuff from escaping within that space should something go wrong again. I'm bad at explaining. -_- )

Kimi: to be honest, i could just easily teleport you back there. but there's a high chance i'd go into a coma.

Cathode: ... Seriously?

Engineer: That'd be great. If, we could keep you from falling in a coma.

Medic: Hmm... Is zis ability of yours genetic, by any chance...?

Spy: Hm....

Kimi: *looks at Medic* no, it's not genetic.

(Absolutely no idea XD Monster hunter is basically a game where you hunt constant bosses in the forms of monsters in prehistoric times, yet the Monster Hunters are advanced in some aspects...)

Kimioko: *really hoping this doesn't go completely wrong*

*Small formations of Australium burst from the tissue sample, followed immedietely suddenly by four Australium crab-like legs. The "Sample" stands up and seems to look around for a second*

Engie: Heck..?

Medic: *a bit wide-eyed in amazement*

Kimioko: *eye twitch* uh... I guess that fake australium Wasn't up to par.... *ready to teleport the crab thingy if it starts attacking*

Cathode: Well, it didn't blow up the Tele, so that's a start.
Medic: Everyone, ve must capture this specimine! Do you realize what we have done?! Ve have just created a new species of animal creature!
Engie: Doc, it looks pretty contained to me. It's in the box.

Australium-Tissue Crab: *Starts exploring, and starts EASILY scratching away at the container*
Engie: Or not. 'Less we got somethin' better to hold that, it's not gunna live long. *Pulls out his pistol*

Kimioko: .... *thinks for a few seconds* Hold up. *teleports away and back again with some sort of black jar that looks like someone fused rubber with tar*

Cathode: Oh, goodie.
Engie: Thank's, Kimi.
Medic: Oo, thank you mien friend!
Spy: *Ahem* If I may? It is easily tearing through zhat barrier. I believe if any of us try to catch zhe mutant with our hands, it will tear through our hands.
Cathode: We got that jar, but... My laser pistol does have a stun setting. *Goes to grab it, but realizes it's not there* What the? Oh. Crud, I left it in Spy's tent.

Engie: Uh... What were you doing in his tent?
Cathode: Not important.

Spy: I vill go get it. *Dashes out the door towards his tent*

AT Crab: *Cuts a hole through the container and crawls out, then quickly jumps on top of the container*

*I will go get zit.

Kimioko: guys... Teleportation *facepalms in my head* *teleports the crab into the rubber/tar container and shuts it*

AT Crab: *Constantly scratches at it, trying to get out*

Medic: ... Vell, that was boring.

Cathode: Oh... Right.

Engie: Oh sweet. Heh, I could probably save a ton on gas money with you around. *Chuckles*

However, Soldier is almost completely insane and I doubt Kimi would stay with him. Engie has his tick but he's overall much more calm and soft-spoken. Except that he has a love for having his machines kill people. )

(Well, none of the official material of TF2 really says much about that. But in general he does seem very, very, VERY calm and collected at most times, though can be a bit unfeeling at some points. Like the other mercs though he does appear to enjoy his job of kil.,ling people.

He's often so calm, in fact, that one of his voicelines in the game for when he gets set of fire is this ".... I do believe I'm fire."

Along with, "I appear to have burst into flames!"

Sometimes he reacts though with something we probably would react with; "FIRE, FIRE, FIRE!!" Which can be amusing if the voicelines end up going like this:

*Initially gets set on fire* "I do believe I'm on fire..." *A few seconds later, still burning* "FIRE, FIRE, FIRE!!")

(Sure, I'll tell you whether or not they'd probably fit within the game.

Of course, the game has an evil magician named Merasmus already and an undead "Headless Horseless Hatman" thing for Halloween events, so I guess anything could really go. XD)

Kimi: well, the longer the distance and the more power it takes the more likely i am to pass out, and the longer i will be passed out... teleporting myself or one person would be fine, but more than one would be pushing it.

Cathode: *Ahem* What?

Spy: *Doesn't react, just takes his cig out*

Engie: Eheh...

Medic: Vell, it vould be nice, but, you yourself could very well call into a coma, correct?

Engie: I'd hate to leave you here in the middle of a forest, laying flat on your back in a coma until who-knows-when.

Kimi: the other option is someone i know... but you'd all get major amnesia from HIS teleportation... and he can't go back in time...

TF2 Kimi sounds like she'd be a support class. Given that, I'd give her lowish HP so she wouldn't be able to to tank much damage or be a frontlines fighter on her own.
Crossbow seems a bit iffy, though decent in concept. In this type of game allowing another player to either freeze a player (just as an example) or slow their movement speed can become a little bit more annoying than fun. I'd probably give it more a buff similar to the Sniper's Jarate (causes enemies to take Mini-Crit damage) or Scout's Mad Milk (causes all damage done to enemies to heal the attacker), or something else. Maybe it could deal a certain amoutn of damage and every bolt would apply a random effect: Jarate, Mad Milk, Bleeding, or Burning for 10 seconds.

To give an example of a weapon that stuns or deals movement speed penalties being easier to troll with than other weapons, Scout has an unlockable bat that allows him to bat a ball at an enemy. The ball has a lengthy "reload" time for how long it takes before you can shoot off another one, but originally the ball would completely stun an enemy on hit so that they couldn't move or attack for several seconds. This led to a Scout in spawn able to constantly pop out, stun and enemy, go back and refill his health and ammo, then repeat so that the enemy couldn't move at all until the Scout died, let him go, or killed him. Now the ball just reduces their movement speed and prevents them from attacking depending on the distance the Scout launched the ball before it hit the enemy.

Secondary - This actually would be where you put a fallback weapon like a basic shotgun or pistol. Your weapon sounds like her melee.

All damage actually causes the player to initially flinch, though damage-over-time effects like Bleeding and Afterburn (Burning) cause the flinch intermittently. So the Iron Pole sounds like it would do the latter. As long as the flinching didn't stack and create a nightmare for the enemy player, and it did low but reasonable amounts of damage, this sounds like a viable melee weapon.

(yeah, the random effect part would be better. and i was thinking she'd have low health (forgot to put that) so she wouldn't be OP)

(Also Engineer's Primary is the Shotgun and his Secondary is a pistol, both of which are secondary weapons for everyone else. Normally his Sentry does most of the damage, though.)

(Yes. Primary, Secondary, and Melee. Spy and Engineer have unique utilities like Engie's Construction PDA (Which lets him build buildings that he can speed up the construction of and upgrade and repair with his Wrench.) and Spy's Building Sapper (which disables Engineer's buildings and damages them until it gets removed or it destroys the building) and his Disguise Kit. Spy actually does not have a Secondary, though, just his Revolver and a Knife to fight with. The knife is mostly used for for insta-kill backstabs since it does pathetic damage otherwise, and the Revolver is reliable and does good damage but still deals less than any other Primary and is mostly to give him a good way to do ranged combat.)

The only characters who have a passive effect like Kimi's "Talent" are Pyro and Medic. Pyro has Afterburn immunity and slight Flamethrower damage resist (so he can only be damaged by the initial hit of the flame) and Medic has a very, very small amount of passive health regen. A couple unlockables do grant slight regen to other characters.

Kimi's passive "Talent" would make her quite a bit unique compared to other TF2 classes who already have very distinct roles and playstyles. Spy has a similar unlockable called the Dead Ringer that replaces his Invisi-Watch; he can't initially cloak but when he has it out, upon being hit he will instantly cloak and drop a fake corpse and leave a fake message in the killfeed that other players will see. He also gets a brief but massive speed boost and fairly strong damage resist. The cloak doesn't last long and can only feign death when it's meter is full but it allows a much more aggressive playstyle for Spy.
Back to Kimi's passive ability, the only thing I'd suggest is changing the speed boost from 10 seconds to between 2-5 seconds, as most weapons that grant a temporary speed boost last for around that long. Also would prevent the passive effect from stacking with speed boosts granted from other player's weapons (I.E. some of the Soldier's unlockables.)

(Haha, nope. TF2 plays almost nothing like COD or more traditional FPS's. Valve intentionally designed the game to be very different from what was popular around the time (and today TF2 is starting to get imitated a bit more like with Overwatch.

There actually is no class in TF2 that plays like you would play in COD.)

The closest thing any other class has to something like this are their utilities. However I'd do something like the Pyro's Phlogistinator unlockable does where her primary weapon builds up a meter with the damage it does, and when it's full she can taunt to activate the effect. I wouldn't make the effect permanent, though, more like 10 seconds or so.
But I think the best idea would be to do the "build up a meter with damage dealt" and have it so that when she taunts with the meter full, she grants all allies in a certain radius around her and herself a speed and possibly a damage boost for 10 seconds (though if an ally leaves the radius they'll lose the boost until they re-enter the radius.
However Soldier already has a few unlockables that prettymuch do the same thing for providing a boost to allies around him. The items he has for that replace one of his weapons and force him into slightly more of a team-player and support role, though he still has his Rocket Launcher and a large health pool.

Kimi: once i woke up from the coma if i came with you i could just teleport back. and my comas never last longer than... 2 months.

Spy: Especially with zhe bloodthirsty, unrespectable BLU Team... As soon as they found out about you, they'd probably try to capture you to find out why you're in a coma and attempt to find you how your abilities work. And zhat would probably include zhier Medic dissecting you.

Cathode: ... *Just doesn't say anything, since MJ12 has done very similar things before*

Kimi: well, i guess stay here and have a friend watch over me it is then...

I had an idea for an RP... What if MJ12 had attempted to build a portal to enter the Borderworld (the place that connects every dimension in existence), but somehow accidently created a "portal storm" (series of randomly appearing portals that suck stuff in I guess) in, well, Hell, causing a whole bunch of demons and random creatures to appear and prettymuch kill all the personnell except for a few or just one... And also caused other OCs to show up like Aria, Aknid, etc?

Pretty random.

Maybe when we have more free time, like Christmas break
