So, since everybody in this group has their FE-style children, I had a thought...
Why not make our own storyline? With an own antagonist, bosses, levels, protagonists... why not do our thing? I would volunteer for level design and suggest a few story things, then you guys would have to decide where to n
bring in your children and how they would join the story.

I´ll get into detail tomorrow in the web comments as it is really late here and I have to work tomorrow. But some things in advance - this ´game´ will get dark. As FE has always been. Tat doesn´t mean there´s no place for happiness. Every FE has its silly moments and supports. But be reminded that this is war.
Secodly, I would volunteer for level design. And maybe some parts of the comic if we want to do one. Depends on the participants.
Third point, there will be activity checks for the people involved. Only to see if you actually contribute something.
And, of course, go wild! Help us think of a great story. One that captures the feeling of a real Fire Emblem game.
Let´s go kick some @ss.

I would say yes. I'd actually love for all of us to collaborate with the idea. As I have thought that characters all over colors emblem have a ton of potential. Although, and no offense to anyone involved. I think personally it'd be hard to collaborate with every single person who is participating in the community to make a compelling and understandable story. Unless we isolate a few solid writers in the community and make it so like we all agree on which way to go with the plot, then I can't see it working with a fandom this big. I will say though if we have a way to make it work and have an organized and cohesive plot with equal character balance and showtime,then I would be all for it. So Tl;Dr I'm totally up for it, if we do it in a way that we can all as a community like the idea and make it a functional story instead of a plotline potluck.

Reasons why I threw this into the online comments:
-It's easier to type on a keyboard
-I am at work and am allowed to goof off every now and then on the PC
-I was so tired last night I almost fell into sleep paralysis while writing the first comment
ad the first comment and probably also answering questions:
THE 'GAME' WILL GET DARK.
Yeah, I get it. Some people don't want to get that dark a lot. But let's face it, Fire Emblem as the entire game series is about WAR. War is people shooting each other. Parents getting blown up by grenades or - if you want to keep it fictional - spells. In front of their children's eyes. War IS dark. There's no other way to call it. Of course, silly supports are good. They are great! Everybody deserves to have their happy moments. But it shouldn't always just be sunshine and lollipops. If a character suffers from PTSD, he won't suddenly smile and be happy around others. Please accept the research and thoughts that people put into their characters. Maybe they even are unable to express emotions properly *coughs*Dzhafar*coughs*. This doesn't mean that they can't learn to at least try a bit. But it's a process, not a sudden change of mind. It may take more time than you want it to, but that is because it's psychologically proven to be that way.
COMMUNICATION IS IMPORTANT.
Everybody should be okay with the story. I don't know how a lot of the people who are interested to participate want to communicate, through colors, WhatsApp, maybe an online Forum or Skype. Please tell me your preferred methods of communication and I will try to find a way that everybody can work with the group properly without difficulties! If everybody would be okay with it, I could also start up an online Forum for us. I don't know if I can get it to work out properly on mobile as well, but being a learning programmer, I can try to mess with the code and see if I can get the mobile version as well. Maybe I can ask my colleagues even.
We want everybody to be happy with the story and how their bbys join it, right? Also, if others want to do some level design as well, I'd say go for it! Otherwise I volunteer to plan out the maps and such, since in another group I'm in I seem to be the only one who actually likes doing them. So correct me if I'm wrong with that in here hhahah;;
PLEASE ONLY PARTICIPATE IF YOU REALLY WANT TO BE ACTIVE.
I've seen a lot of groups die already because one or more members just decided to one day disappear. It's okay if you can't draw every week, hell, I probably won't be able to do so myself because of work and private stuff. But at least check in every now and then, tell the group that you are still active and that you still want to work with it. In case we really set up a forum, we can also archive fixed story points or such there. But please, only really sign up for this project if you don't plan on abandoning it, even if something isn't quite working out like you expected it to. Because, let's face it, Fire Emblem isn't Fire Emblem without at least one major plot twist or fuck up of either the main character or some side characters.
Also one last point that I didn't get to mention in the first comment since I fell into a coma until my alarm ripped me out of it:
THE LIST OF UNITS
I suppose we can't really fit every single already existing character into the story, especially since a lot of classes are already... let's say Overpopulated. As soon as a fixed group and communication basis is set up, I suppose we should set up a list of units we have / still need, then we can see if we could revamp other characters or design new ones for these classes. We could also bring in own classes of course, if anybody (*coughs*me*coughs*) has the undying need to do it.
That's about everything for now, hope I didn't make anything unclear! If I did, please let me know, and also, please share the idea if you want other people to know about it! I know I already put it in the tags, but it seems a lot of people eit

Well i love the idea
Uhm.. what other ways of communication are there? There are things like kik and such as well but I dunno.

Ahhh I personally don't have any storage for additiobal programs on my phone, but if I can use it on my PC I'd be fine ;v;
First we should see who even wants to join in on here though.

Discord is a good communication app that you can use both on the phone and pc

i really love this idea! i don't know just how much i could contribute, but i'm all for having this become a reality!! :00

@Symphonix - I just downloaded it! Seems like my phone still had enough storage for it ;v; So get me in on it if you want to!
@Red: The active contribution part is more like... that you bring in some ideas or just show up every now and then to talk about the story with the others, so everybody can agree on something. But I've seen too many groups fall apart because people just lost interest and were like "meh. Leave me alone." When asked why they just disappared... lotsa negative things for me tbh. Drawing or such is not a real necessity! It's more centered on the story anyways. So writing and communication will be the most important part actually.
