Re- WOOOW THANK YOU THAT VIDEO WAS SO INFORMATIVE. Omg I was so excited when I saw it was a 9 minute video with diagrams drawn out I love this kind of stuff. I am still wrapping my head around the idea of in-between planes but everything makes sense.
So are Walcott and the others trapped in levels? Or on the elemental plane in general? Or is Walcott's just on Alkia?
Foster has the ability to just enter the elemental plane whenever he wants, correct? Does that mean he can also go in between too? Like can he just randomly warp into a level? Lol like he just pops in to say hi.
And what are these portals like? I remember seeing one once, it looked man-made though. Maybe it was a different kind of portal.

That has nothing to do with the story, I'm just curious.

As for the story, this might help a little bit. But the questions comes with deciding if we'll even use a level/portal instead or just stick with what we've been working with. Especially since, for the au, there's still the question of which aspects from each universe made it into the current planet; like if there is a nightmare infestation problem, and if portals and pocket dementions are a thing, and if sleeping exists or not, and if the 8bitten crew is on-duty or not.
AUGH MAN THIS STORY IS SO HARD. Maybe I need to talk with chompi about what to do with it and if we should even continue or just kinda throw in the towel and show what we had going.
