Well, you as the player are searching for the 8 pages to get facts about the "Slenderman"
Each note you get, the game gets prgressively harder and each odd number of notes you get, the music gets scarier. If you get caught by Slenderman, you lose. If you collect all 8 pages, you STILL get caught, but win...

^ In the latest version, after he catches you while you have eight pages, you'll wake up and it'll be day time. Then you unlock daylight mode.
