I feel like that at times too.
I work at a grocery store were kindness and customer service are emphasized.
I do my best every day, but, unfortunately, I also feel that the Office Staff is far too likely to see me saying or doing something harmless and kind for somebody, like all of the employees are supposed to do, and to come over and put a stop to it for very petty reasons.
The Management comes across as not caring, as long as the Office Staff is envolved. And I feel that the Management and the Union both lie through their teeth to me about the order of authority and will not help me.
