i honestly dont get how its okay to headcanon a chara who is canonically male as a trans girl in a show but if a person headcanons a chara thats canonically female as a trans guy, everyone gets mad
trans guys should be allowed to have that right too like??? it's the same thing but w/ differemt genders. i understand that trans girls are opressed but so are trans guys and we should be allowed to do stuff like that

it also kinda upsets me when the whole canon guy/trans girl headcanon thing is bc they wore a dress or skirt in canon

guys are allowed to do that and be guys,,

also not to mention
fan opinion doesn't equal canon
like you can say pidge is a trans girl and i'll say cool and we can just stay beside eachother with different headcanons
but if you yell at me and say " ITS CANON " with no proof, i'll get a little upset.

and thats pretty low of a fandom to attack people who headcanon differently/use headcanons for coping, wth??? like people have different opinions and variations of everything, let people do what they want if it doesnt hurt anyone else, yknow?

They were wrong to force their headcanons on you and made it even worst by saying it's canon. People should've respected you and your headcanons, especially when you use it as a coping mechanism.
