in the realms. The reason they were hunted for their feathers was because many believed they were the snake god Quetzalcoatl. Though many were hunted, a law was put into effect to poachers not to hunt the giant snakes, but many still do to this day. As the years pasted they became smart as to not go near towns for they may be hunted, this is were the info started to become scarce. As more years pasted the snakes rarely became seen. So a researcher went to find out more, he found out basics and some very unusual things!

basics: They are believed to dig underground and stay under there as a defense mechanisam. Along with that they can also attack/hunt in that same way as well. Shooting from the ground at incredible speeds and power can cause the target to be killed instantly or suffer. Being right under the target also gives them the advantage of stealth. Along with being snakes they can of course coil around anything and everything cutting off its air flow. Many of the Eygptian Snakeheads' tails have spikes to help them hang on if they dig though a mountian or island, same with the spikes down their backs. They have shorter legs but long claws. Their fire power/ lightning (next part) are kept in feathers and spikes whom glow a brilliant white and burn when full. The eyes of a digger are usually a blue or green like color, sometimes a amber color which is very rare. They come in a few colors: greyish, red, brown and possibly a dark yellow.

uniqueness: They are very unique as well! Many believe they sleep in the ground or in the sky, (flyers only) when really they both sleep in trees! trees give them the best safety from attacks. They also provide cover from weather such as wind and rain. They are also believed to have their nests in the trees and care for their young much of like a bird, when old enough they are tought to slither down the trees and hunt on the ground before they even learn to fly or dig. It is also believed that some Egyptian Snakehead's can be born without legs, which can be very hard for diggers, not so much for flyers though. They only have two teeth.... WAIT WHAT?! TWO TEETH? Two teeth means its hard to eat but, they can survive for days on end with just drinking water, much like a camel. All though they only have two teeth, they are as sharp as two broken pieces of glass.
