We humans often forget the greatest technology available to us, spending precious time and resources to come up with answers we could have had from the start--if only we had stopped a minute to think about it.
But don't think this happens only on a grand scale--think back to the last time you were faced with a simple math problem. Perhaps you were buying groceries and had paid in cash, but not with exact change. (cont. in comments)

Did you figure out how much you were owed? Did the cashier? Or did you both wait for a machine to do it for you?
The mind is the most powerful technology we have at our disposal--it is also the most underused. In many cases, it seems as though we have forgotten its existence, its status as an incredible resource, altogether.

First Mate would be ok, i would like to talk some more with @tiniestyou, i will tell after. They're is some "magic" users, but very basic, no extreamly powerful, almight, bla bla bla stuff. Just like powers to say, turn invisible or disguse, stuff like that. There are also human/animal and sirens/mermaids.
