re:// i've been thinking about it and maybe khan started as a simple cabin boy that befriended alastor. khan ages differently from many species as when they are ten y/o in their species they are considered to be only five y/o yet they do have a bit more retention than normal ten y/o. but basically khan could have been fifteen y/o when he was a cabin boy and grew close with the other over the years???
