I wish I knew how you did that background! The lighting is epic and this entire picture is just...Wow
Lastly, your characters are wonderful I love their designs!
The only thing is, the characters and the bacground clash, to the point where they rob each other of the desired effect (but not by much, this picture is still epic!)

This is so pretty! ^-^ Going with @DragonOfSapphire's idea, I'd only suggest darkening the shaded areas (the darkest ones) a bit more, so the characters will be solidly distinguishable from the background, so it'll really oop. It's not the similarity of the two characters' colors themselves, which might be one reason why you wanted the two to meet. :3
