Kk:D I'll start now (also do you want it to be any type of fairy type or do you have one fairy Pokemon in mind right now?)
The corner of Roque's lips lifts up into a cocky smirk as he casually twirls the twin of his sheathed red sword. The fairy type a few feet away from him growls as it crouches down, prepared to attack if cornered any further.
"Well...not so pretty anymore aren't you...such a waste of a beautiful power.."
An annoyed sigh escaped the Lucario's lips. It was one thing to take on a significant quest like this one; it was another to find out that another pokemon is close to completing said quest. Vaughn recognized the Roserade's aura in the distance and quickened his pace so he could finish the job himself. Upon arriving at the scene, Vaughn pulled out his trusty katars while he approached the Roserade and fairy type. "Hold it right there, Rose. I'm taking this one..."
Roque twitches but does not turn around. "I'm sorry...but I believe I have found her first...," despite the polite words, it was spoken in a sassy tone. He adjusts his mask and brings out his hand in front of him generating a shadow ball, Roque grins. "Early bird gets the worm as they say..." He says as he whips his hand and the shadow ball zooms right at the fairy. The Sylveon simply grins and jumps out of the way but couldn't protect herself from the explosion of dust and rubble as the shadow ball makes contact with the brick wall.
The corner of Vaughn's lips twitched in annoyance at the other's response. But he did find him to be amusing, so why not mess with the Roserade a little? Returning his katars to their respective places, he took a few steps closer to the Roserade. He whistled soon after the shadow ball made contact with the wall. "Ooh...You may have had a head start but that aim of yours...it needs some work, Rose."
"Oh~" he seductively says as he sheaths his other sword and connects them together. As the Sylveon covered her face to shield her eyes from dust.
"It wasn't about hitting the target..but all for a" He holds the double bladed spear and spun it. "Simple strategy.." He moves in quick and swings down his weapon, the Sylveon quickly rolls to the side but a small cut was still made on her calf, ripping the stocking. Roque smiles at that. "Ah...perfect.."
He folded his arms over his chest and tilted his head slightly in confusion. He 'watched' the whole scene play out and it didnt quite make sense to him. The Sylveon obviously dodged the hit right? "Strategy? Perfect...? It doesn't seem like you even landed a hit on her..." It was during times like these that he wished he could actually see.
For the first time, Roque turns his head around and sent the man who wouldn't stop commenting a look of annoyance. He pauses as he sees the blindfold covering the other's eyes. It was just enough time to allow the Sylveon to jump over the wall behind her and escape. "Fuck..!" Roque swore, a rare occurrence. He grumbles under his breath. Detaching the two swords and sheathing both. "now look what you've done! And it was just getting much more fun too!" Roque accuses the other
The Lucario was quick to hold both of his hands up in front of himself in defense. "I dont understand why you ask me to look at what Ive done. As you can tell," He points to the blindfold over his eyes and continued, "I cant see a thing." Of course that was all a load of bull. He was honestly was glad that the Sylveon got away. That just meant that Roque (and Vaughn) hadn't completed the quest and there would be no reward for either of them.
Roque brought one hand to his hip as he struts over to Vaughn. "Ah...but if you couldn't see..," he lifts his other hand up, places on finger on Vaughn's chest and slides it up to his chin. With a hum, he grabs his chin down to make him face Roque. "You wouldn't have pointed out me having such a horrible aim.." He chuckles sultrily
A shiver bolted up his spike as a slight blush dusted his cheeks. He wasnt quite used to being touched in such a way. He gently grasped Roque's wrist and moved his hand away before promptly letting go. "Well arent you clever, Rose?" He questioned with a slight smirk.
Taking a step back, Vaughn lifted the blindfold. He slowly opened his eyes, revealing a pair of maroon colored orbs to the Roserade. "I consider myself to be blind. You see, you're nothing but an extremely blurry, green pea in my eyes." He closed his eyes once more and pulled the blindfold back down. "But...I can sense aura. Hence why I was able to 'see' how horrible your aim was."
"Oh what a pity...you're unable to bask in my beauty..," he says shamelessly as he walked around Vaughn. "Blind or not...I'm sure you know of the common ability of the Roserade line...does..Poison Point ring any bell??" He asks with a grin and gives him a pat on the back. "Well...it's time for me to leave...a few minutes have already passed whilst wasting time talking with you...that Sylveon should be feeling the early stages of my...personally brewed poison.." he walks out of the alley and back to the streets, taking his sweet time. He knows that by the time he'll found the Sylveon, she is unmoving and dead
Vaughn could only scoff in reply. Beauty was something he cared little for so he it didnt matter to him. He remained silent for a moment before giving a curt nod. "...Not only clever but lethal as well, eh?" He said with a low chuckle. He then turned his back to the Roserade, preparing to take off. "Oh," Vaughn paused for a second then continued, "I would advise that you move fast. Although you poisoned her, that Sylveon is a fast one..." It was just a small tip for the Roserade. The Lucero could still sense the now faint aura of the fairy type, signaling that she had managed to get quite a distance away.
With that being said, he took off without another word.
Roque rolls his eyes and sent the leaving Lucario a glare. "I wouldn't need to...my Poison has many types of symptoms that will allow me to track her down easily...someone whom has lost balance and delirious won't avoid leaving such obvious tracks..," he says to none but to himself as he goes around the block to where the other side of the wall was. He picks up his speed then perks up as he sees a few fallen crates behind the wall. He follows it until he sees deep and dragged footprints leading to the forest. "Well...a terrain advantage...lovely"
Although Vaughn had left the scene, he wasn't giving up on the quest just yet...Since he did cause the Roserade to lose sight of the target. Might as well help flower boy out while he was there! As he neared the forest that the Sylveon was in, he sensed the Roserade's aura not too far behind of him. He prepped himself before jumping onto a branch of one of the trees at the entrance of the forest. "Hey, Red! You in need of a support?" He asked, leaning against the trunk of the tree.
Roque huffs haughtily as he whips his hair to the side.
" I do not need help from someone that made my mission longer than it should have, I am very busy," he says in a biting tone as he walks past Vaughn. "Besides, by the time I find that Sylveon, she's as good as dead.." Holding out his hand up, flower petals began to bloom in a messy line on the forest floor. He laughs at how messy the line of flower was as he took off his mask. "Now that's amusing, it's plausible that Sylveon is running around in circles,"
He shook his head in disappointment as he listened to the rhythm of the Roserade walking away. "Hmph." Vaughn jumped down from his spot on the branch, landing perfectly on his feet. "Well," he paused before continuing, "I'm still going to help you even if you said no." It wasn't everyday that the Lucario offered to team up with a stranger. It was something that only happened in a blue moon.
The 4 nerve bundles on the back of Vaughn's head lifted slightly and vibrated. He could see the Sylveon's aura not too far ahead of the pair. Surprisingly, the Sylveon was practically running in circles, just as Roque had predicted. "...You were not wrong on that actually. But do keep your guard up as we near her. There are a handful of pokemon hiding in the area that the Sylveon is in."
Roque rolls his eyes as he kept walking, trying not to listen to the other. He slowly sheaths his blue sword, chopping away a long thin branch and some dense shrubs where the trail of flowers bloomed through it. The density of the forest lessened, they were nearing the exit. Shielding his eyes from the glare of the sun, Roque was met with very tall grasses, taller than the Roserade. He pursed his lips as his eyes followed the trail of flowers which went right into the field of tall grass. Lucky for him, the way that the Sylveon took was obvious due to the trampled grass. However, Roque stays still, not wanting to risk going in and be attacked by a territorial Pokemon. His free hand reaches for the pocket on the back of his belt. He pulls something out which emits a soothing chiming sound. It was two soothe bells.
