Cielo Book of Creatures and Monsters: Air Elementals #SKeysBook
Their core, or 'heart,' generates elemental magic and keeps their form stable. It is thought that it also contains their personality and thoughts. If an elemental's physical form is lost, they can regenerate so long as their core is uninjured. Regeneration takes an hour or longer due to the large amount of magic that's required. Much is still unknown about an elemental's core.

Air elementals are recognized by their cloudy form, electric eyes, and ability to float. They are most common in the Land of Dreams. There are three types: Storm, Rain, and Snow. They are most commonly archers or mages due to their skill in long-ranged attacks, and natural ability to control weather-based magic. Most are allies to Dreamers.
Elementals are known to travel together in nomadic tribes/colonies. They are governed by Elemental Lords, (sometimes referred to as Royal Elementals.) who are rare, elemental giants with much stronger magic than normal elementals. If two Elemental Lords wish to rule the same colony, they will sometimes fight to the death over the throne. These battles can cause catastrophic natural disasters.
Normal elementals stand no chance in battle against an Elemental Lord.

(Brief fact about Fiona's history.)
Fiona came from a small colony where the two Elemental Lords considered their colony as their family.
Fiona: "Woah, woah, hang on just a second. Who wrote in the book in purple ink? That's vandalism! And they seemed pretty hostile towards elementals... I mean, who writes notes about our alliance with the Dreamers being questionable?!"
