( @Mademoinette Well, King Lenny was murdered by Erwen, Adrianne died in an avalanche and now Maelstrom's looking after her, Maldius killed Aquilam Guard Kremos, Mac got abducted by Fayveer the Necromancer who's planning to turn him into a soulless husk and posses his body, meanwhile Nanashi destroyed Maldius' fortress and escaped with Ivy, Casta was turned into a Shadow Beast by BlackIce, and now Maldy-boi's on his way back to the Frozen Wastes. Alfred and Nitikia are also learning about Teresa and Gemini.

The spirit that the Necromancer trapped motions to a hallway. "There... the Master is that way, in his study..."

Hearing that the commotion had temporarily ceased, Fayveer takes the anklet he took from Macgyver and one of his many cutting tools, and carves letters in an ancient language inside the anklet. He mutters some words under his breath, and for a moment, an icy film covers the bracelet, then seems to fade. //This enchantment should cause his curse to grow more unstable...// he thinks, before reaching for one of the anklets on Mac's back legs. "Tell me, Macgyver, are there any dragons you have affectionate feelings for?"

Mac attempted to kick Fayveer's face as he reached for the other anklet. "Why should I tell you?" He hissed

Crowley was in Solaris as usual, bored and waiting for something interesting to happen. He'd just heard rumours that King Lennox was dead and Erwen had taken his place, but he wouldn't believe it until he had proof. Not to mention he didn't like the prospect of having to take orders from a turkey king...

(Am I the only one who has no idea what to do in this RP anymore? DX)

{The Necromancer puts his captive soul back in the gem. He signals Nanashi and Zygoren to follow as he heads towards Fayveer's lair.}

Fayveer swiftly grabs Macgyver's leg before he can kick him, and pulls off the anklet on that leg as well. "Seeing as your brain shall soon be incapable of intellligeable reasoning and emotional sensitivity, I figured I'd ask in advance, in case you wished to tell them your last regards."

Ivy was still following Nanashi, though she'd been keeping unusually quiet for the past few minutes.

Nanashi nodded and follow he did not look at Ivy

Erwen went to the entrance of the palace and closed the main doors. Not many came to the palace but if someone did he wanted the mess to be cleared away. The sooner the better, then a service could be held for his father, he deserved that much.

Sensing that this wasn't a threat, he nodded. "I do."
It was odd to think these exact moments were the only few Mac had left before he didn't exist anymore.

Same here. I get stuck plenty of times, and I'm always too scared that I'll interrupt something to try anything crazy. <xD)

Crowley was sitting on a nearby rooftop when he spotted Erwen below, entering the palace. He narrowed his eyes. //The guy looks different. And he's bigger.//

Alfred sat there eating candy //so what do we do now? We can still go look for Gemini and Teresa dad....but if he was looking for Maldius...I have a bad feeling about this....I hope my message gets to her and dad soon...// he was in deep thought.

Ivy rolled her eyes as she gave pursuit. 'What exactly are we doing here, anyway?' she asked, because she'd been too busy staring at Nanashi to pay any attention.

{The Necromancer enters Fayveers study and sees Mac chained to the table and his captor.}"Fayveer! Stop!"

(Aaand I was late.)

{Through the doorway of Pherial's quarters comes the draugr of Drailen.(That's the king's name, right?)}"Pherial, are you here?"

Scarlet play with her dagger "so Adder why are you so interested in Maldius hmmm" she lean to the pool with smile

The eyeless, frozen necromancer halts upon hearing the newcomer's voice, but quickly carves some runes into the second anklet before placing it on the table. Without turning to the new arrivals, he asks, "... How do you know my name?"

Macgyver's vision blurs and he groans in pain from his broken ribs. He couldn't see who was there, but he hoped it was a rescuer.

Adder kept his expression unreadable as he stared back at Scarlet through the enchanted pool. 'I'm an Ear. It's my job to know things... and any information on this dragon could prove valuable.' He reached up to adjust the old blue scarf wrapped around his neck.

Maldius finally arrives at his fortress, landing hard at what used to be the entrance. Anger quickly coming to boil within him, he examines the ruins of his greatest creation, before letting out an earth-splitting roar. "SCRAAATCH!!! BLACKIIIICE?!?! WHAT HAPPENED!?"

{The Necromancer pulls up a stone tile from the floor and begins to carve something into it.}"I know many things. You should know just as well as I do that dead men 'do' tell tales. The question is, where did you learn to speak with them?"

{Drailen approaches as he speaks.}"Yes. Have you brought her here, like we discussed?"

"Hmmm... indeed they do. As to where I learned that... is there not only one place to learn the language of the dead? In a land across the sea, where humans wage war with our kind..." With many a crinkling, frozen sound, Fayveer turns away from Macgyver and 'looks' toward the fellow Necromancer.

Scarlet lead back she look at her claws and glanced back at him " true that is what you do." She smiled and clapped her hands together
"let's play a little game like old times! I will tell you what i know if you win!" she had a twisted smile

Scratch got steadied to his feet, and got a glimpse around before hearing Maldius' roar. He limped as fast as he could to Maldius. "T-the prisoners- They must've escaped. I can't remember much, I was struck by a falling Icicle and blacked out.." He pointed to the icicle that impaled him along the base of his neck.

{Drailen can't stand to see his daughter react this way towards him. He approaches her in a non-threatening manner.}"V-Veilla, don't you recognize me? I know I must look terrible, but It's still me!"

BlackIce walk over and stood next to Scratch his eyes were glass over

Erwen made sure the dragons tending to his father's body were alright on their own before leaving. He couldn't stay anywhere near there for another second. Clumsily he spread his large wings and took to the air, heading for one of the tall spires attached to the palace.

Adder didn't like the look of that smile. 'What kind of game?' he asked cautiously. A rustle from the trees nearby caused him to look away from the pool for a moment, but once he'd ascertained that it was just a rabbit, he turned his gaze back to Scarlet. //What's she playing at this time?//

Ivy, still standing behind Nanashi, peered around him to see the Necromancer talking to an unfamiliar dragon. She bared her teeth and bristled slightly, not liking the look of him at all.

{The Necromancer finishes his carving and holds it in his hand.}"Yes, the great cult of Thanatos, deep in the mountains. Led by a dragon, who's love of death is only matched by your purple creation. Tell me, has Dolorus always been that way, or was his caustic personality a more recent development?"

Utterly furious, the dark purple dragon siezes Scratch by the throat, his yellow eyes burning with wrath. "I leave for just a little while, and the moment I'm gone, they escape with no resistance!?" Maldius snarls, throwing Scratch violently to the ground. "WORTHLESS!!"

Crowley lazily observed Erwen as he left the palace and took to the sky. //Should I?// he wondered, stretching his feathered wings. //I wanna know what's going on.// Carefully, he took off and followed Erwen, though he kept a good distance behind.

{Drailen gives a look of grief.}"Yes, I am dead. But, I have returned to convince you not to go to war with Aquilam. If you do, none will survive."

( @Aggron Should I just assume that yes, Dolorus has always been that way? XP )

Scarlet smiled and spoke in a smooth voice "just my favorite game... Cat and Mouse..." her eyes Flickr Dangerously "Catch my Raven and you win." Her Raven take off flying "that's if you can Catch him" she look at her dagger before glancing over at the pool with a Cheshire Cat smile "you better hurry he has a haed start" she waves at him "have fun!"

( @Lilly Yes){Drailen gives a look of confusion, mixed with anger}"Rumours? What rumours?"(He hasn't heard yet.)

Alfred look at the girls "so what do you want to do now? "

"Ahh, Dolorus... No, he's always been of that nature." Fayveer pauses a moment before questioning, "You are a part of the same faith, are you not? Why then have you come here?"

Nanashi just listen he was trying to ignore Ivy the best he could

Adder showed his teeth. He didn't like playing games. But if it meant getting more information from her... 'All right,' he growled, spreading his wings. 'That should be easy.' He leapt into the air and set off in pursuit of the flying raven. //If I do catch it, I'm going to snap its neck,// he decided irritably.

(Hey, I got to go. I'll be back in roughly an hour.)

{The Necromancer approaches Fayveer.}"Because you have information that I need. Information specifically regarding your "puppet". Things like, why did you make him, and, how do you stop him?"

Erwen reached the spire he was aiming for and landed on it. After situating himself into a more comfortable position he looked in the sky around him. He noticed Crowley farther away but chose to ignore him.

Nitika coiled her tail around herself as she thought. "...We still need to find BlackIce." She muttered in a concerned tone as she fiddled with her potion brewing equipment. "We don't have any other leads right now, though..." She frowned as she attempted to figure out what they should do.

The icicle that had pierce through Scratch shattered as he hit the floor. Before the dark dragon could do anything, he raised his paws in a merciful stance. "No please! That disgusting icy rat caused the place to collapse before we could even react! I beg you- we couldn't do anything to stop it!"
Mac attempted to snap the chains that bound him, ignoring the pain that flashed in his chest. The sound of strained metal echoed in the background as the Necromancers talked.

{Drailen stays silent for a moment.}"Oh......Well, that actually works in our favor. You see, a friend of mine managed to convince Erwen to drop his hatred towards our clan. Now that he's calling the shots, peace is all but assured. That is,"{He rises to full height and gazes down upon his daughter.}"If you don't force his hand by attacking him unannounced. We might just have a chance at peace. Don't mess this up, young lady."

Erwen looked up at Ambrilla flying overhead. He gave a shrill response, allowing her to join him if she wished.

Zygoren silently observes, flinching slightly and looking away at the word 'puppet.' //My son is not a puppet...//

Fayveer snorts, somewhat haughtily. "Why should I tell you? Do you suppose you can just force me into giving up my secrets?"

(Ahhh I have to go! DX I don't know how long I'll be out!)

( @Shadow aw, okay. Seeya later!)

(Aw alright @Shadow, hope you can get back soon.)

It took a moment for Erwen to really acknowledge that Ambrilla was referencing to him. "My father is dead, I suppose that makes me the king now." He turned to face her. "What is it that you need?"

{The Necromancer gets right in front of Fayveer. He casts the stone tile underneath Fayveer and speaks a few words. This was a soul trap, keeping Fayveer in place and rendering his body paralyzed.}"As a matter of fact, I can. Here's the deal, 'friend', you can either tell me what I want I want to know, or you can spend eternity bound to that tablet. Your choice."

{Drailen's irritation begins to show.}"Aquilam did not kill me. It was Doraon's fault! One of our own! If you truly want to avenge me, kill him, and him alone! Don't drag every living dragon on this land into your personal quest for revenge!"

Maldius growls demonically at his servant, but decides against killing him. Without speaking another word to Scratch, the dark dragon marches further into the ruins of his once proud fortress, the ground beneath him turning purple and rapidly spreading. Maldius rears up on his hind legs, letting out a powerful roar as he then slams his claws into the earth, and the ruins respond to his power by shifting, cracking, and warping into a new structure. A new fortress is not formed, however, instead, spires of stone and ice rise up, almost like a mountain, in a circular shape, the spires almost resembling the maw of a dragon, and within the heart of the 'mountain' is a pit, purple light shining through cracks in the earth. Having finished this, Maldius turns back to Scratch. "We are leaving this place, and we shall not return to stay. Our enemies know of this location. The dragon who destroyed my fortress shall suffer for his deeds!"

Scratch followed Maldius. His mind was picking up past events of dragons through their thoughts, but he kept the information to himself. Maldius would definitly kill him out of pure rage of he spoke of what he heard.

Mac struggled in his chains, attempting to melt them with no luck.

{Drailen yells after his daughter.}"Why? To stop Maldius! Where are you going? I'm not-ugh."{Drailen turns to Pherial.}"This is bad. She can't start a war! Her life depends it! We need to get through to her. I'm not leaving until we do, but I can't be seen during the day. Do you have anywhere I can hide during the daytime?"

Erwen tilted his head towards the sky before answering. "This Maldius problem must stop. I do not want to lead a tribe fearing a monstrous creature past its due date."

Fayveer growls, his haughty attitude fading. "Very well... I suppose I have no choice." He pauses a brief moment, as if listening to something, then explains, "I created the puppet for the sole purpose of being an ideal host... one whose magic I could manipulate to grant me immortality. I have tried the same enchantment on many other dragons, though Zygoren's egg had such infinite potential... I //needed// that egg, you see. While it admittedly has its flaws, the puppet needs only some minor tweaking to reach perfection..." Fayveer deliberately ignores the Necromancer's second question.

Zygoren grows tense hearing Fayveer's words, but remains silent nonetheless.

Crowley circled around the palace's many spires, trying to eavesdrop on Erwen and Ambrilla's conversation, but it wasn't easy with the wind rushing in his ears. With a grunt of frustration, he swept down and landed on a spire some way below them.

Adder swiftly avoided the trap and continued on in pursuit of the raven, Dagger.

(Gonna get on my DS now.)

{The Necromancer turns to Ivy and points to Mac.}"Get him out of those chains."{He then begins to examine one of Mac's altered bracelets and continues to speak.}"Is that so? I take it by 'tweaking' him, you mean cursing him. Is the curse permanent?"

Ivy narrowed her eyed, reluctant to be treated like a servant and even more reluctant to move anywhere close to Fayveer. However, she did obey, stepping forward and starting to cut through the chains one by one with her claws.

Erwen nodded in agreement. "Yes, we shouldn't be afraid. And perhaps increasing trade with Chrysos can promote peace between our two tribes." He tucked his wings closer to his body to shield himself from the sudden cold wind. "I will organize a service for my father by the next morning hopefully, then I'll speak to his advisers. I need them to accept me as the new leader."

{Drailen sighs.}"I know, but she is the next in line to rule. Any war at any point must be avoided. Even if it's tomorrow, or ten years from now, this war between tribes can't be allowed to take place."

"Mmm... while I haven't tested exactly to what extent the curse can be removed, after hundreds of years of its curse running rampant, I can safely assume that it is incapable of being fully erased." Fayveer goes quiet once more.

(Ah, hey! I don't think I'm going to hae time to roleplay today, sorry Lilly!)

(Hey there, Fade! Sorry you can't stay.)

Not wanting to stay any longer, but also not knowing what to do next, Maldius suddenly grabs Casta and Scratch as he leaps into the air, expecting BlackIce to follow. //I suppose I shall return to the mainland, for now... I ought to find a new place to call my domain...//

{The Necromancer nods.}"Perhaps not without killing him, but I'll take what I can get. How can I 'partially erase' this curse?"

( @Fade Aw man, I was hoping maybe M&M could have a chat after Maelstrom drops off Sherry, I don't really know what to do with Maldy-boi now XP )

(Aww, it's a bummer you can't stay @Fade)

{Drailen begins to head for the lower levels.}"Thank you, dear. I will return every night until she sees the truth."{Drailen dissappears into the darkness of the hallway.}

After the final chain was cut, Macgyver slid off of the table. He shakily looked around, not knowing what to do now.

Erwen looked down at the capital. "Well I hope he's a patient dragon, it may take a while before everything's been situated."

Ivy peered at Mac cautiously, keeping one eye on Fayveer in case the dragon somehow freed himself. 'Are you all right? I'm Ivy. I don't think we've met.' She flashed him a toothy grin.

Fayveer growls, reluctant to reveal his secrets. "... I know of an enchantment that can hold off the effects of the puppet's curse, it wouldn't truly erase it, however... It would more or less push the curse into its subconcious, allowing his weak, pathetic personality to show." He snorts, then continues, "Maldius always was a pathetic dragonet, sobbing and begging me not to go through with his training, and refusing to attack his opponents. Crying himself to sleep became a nightly routine for him. Why, once his curse is numbed, he would likely start sobbing and weeping over all the dragons he's murdered, like a miserable dragonet! Ahaha-"

Mac bowed his head slightly to Ivy. "Hello-" He wheezed. "I'm Macgyver. And I'm afraid I busted a few of my ribs." He looked around nervously, staying completely still so he wouldn't hurt himself.

'Oh, don't worry. We'll soon have you out of here and to a healer.' Ivy glanced back at Fayveer and the Necromancer as they continued to converse. 'I'm afraid I'm not really sure what's going on. Who is that Fayveer person?'

Mac thought for a second, everything that happened was still trying to settle in his brain. "I don't exactly know- All I know is that he wanted to use me for something..."

{The Necromancer extends his hand towards Fayveer, preparing to trap him.}"That's not good enough. You said it could be erased, and that's exactly what you'll tell me how to do. But, not here."{The Necromancer forces Fayveer's soul into the tablet, picks it up, and turns to the others.}"We're done here. Mac, go home. And take off your anklets. Fayveer cursed them."(And gtg. I don't know if I'll be back today or not, but now, Nanashi, Mac, and Ivy can do whatever they want, as the Necromancer's just going back to his lair. Bye, guys!)

Ivy huffed in exasperation at the Necromancer's words. 'What about //me?// I don't have a home to go back to!' She then realised he wasn't listening to her and, rolling her eyes, turned to Mac. 'Hm, you're from Aquilam aren't you? Do you need any help getting back?'

Mac nodded, seeing at the state he was in. "Yes, I'd love some help. If you don't mind, that is." He shakily streched out his wings. "And yeah, I'm from Aqualam."

(Yeah, I'll be going out to dinner soon, so once Mac gets back to the Capitol, I'm going to leave. I'm sure I'll be back later.)

(Lilly: I think Ivy and Mac are about to return to Solaris, so I dunno whether that would be a good idea or not. But I guess it's not my decision to make. XD)

(Lilly: I'd offer to have him interact with Crowley since as neither of them are doing anything, but I have to go soon, so maybe not...)

(I do want Crow to meet Mal eventually, though. I'm curious to see what that interaction would be like. XD)

'Oh, I'd //never// let you fall,' Ivy replied, smirking. She launched herself into the air. 'Come on up! I'll help you.'

Mac let out a startled squawk as she darted away. He clumsily took off as well, putting his wing on hers to steady himself.

( @Griff Oh, you mean Nox? She's back at that cave where she was laying low. She's grounded. :p)

( @Aggron Oh yeah *facepalm* Gosh I've been so tired lately.)

Ivy slowed her airspeed to match Mac's, watching him carefully to make sure he didn't slip. She coiled the end of her tail around his, just in case. 'I know the way to Aquilam,' she said a little smugly, turning in the direction of the capital and heading off.

Spotting the form of a large serpent below, Maldius decides to descend and confront the dragon. Nearly allowing himself to fall from the sky, the dark dragon throws his wings open only at the last second to prevent himself from crushing his wingless servants, setting them down before approaching Vitis. He tries to maintain his composure, despite his emotions still boiling beneath his skin. "... Now, aren't you a curious one."

( @Crowley Nahh, I just like watching you buurrrnn... Cow dreggin! *trollface, evading swiftly*)

(Crowley to Lilly: Loser :L :L :L)

{Vitis stops, completely baffeled at what he was seeing. One deep purple monster, two wingless wonders, and an unresponsive black dragon.}"What the? Did the Circus come to town? Who are you?"

Maldius has no idea whatsoever as to what a "circus" is, however he does not question it. "Hmm, I find it disappointing that you do not know who I am..." The dark dragon holds his head high, letting out an arrogant huff. "I am Maldius, the Destroyer, the Devourer of Hope... Aquilam's greatest nightmare returned."

Sherry has been quiet for most of the flight to Solaris, but as Xzar nears the capital, she begins feeling worried. "... Mister Xzar...? Do you think... Maldius is going to be there too...?"

(Sorry for the late reply: trying to catch up on the RP. XD)

Maelstrom glanced at Sherry through the corner of his eye as he winged his way toward the Capitol. "Maldius?" he repeated. "Don't be ridiculous. He has no reason to be in the castle. Besides, he's just a greedy narcissist; there is no need to fear him." //He hasn't shown up in days, after all...//

(Oh, hey @Fluffy! Sorry for not noticing you sooner! X'D)

( @Fluffy: Unless Lilly has plans, I would be perfectly fine with Wyvrick stopping by. Maelstrom, on the other hand... XD)

"But... I heard that he tried to hurt some people here... what if he comes back...?" Sherry holds on tighter to Xzar, remembering the nightmare she had of the dark purple dragon...

Xzar returned his gaze to the path before him and assured Sherry in a bored voice, "There are countless dragons out there that wish to harm. Life is rough in a land on edge of war and poverty like this, and if you can't bear it, leave," he concluded.

Sherry pauses a moment, thinking. "... but why do some dragons want to hurt each other?"

Maelstrom went silent for a moment, contemplating Sherry's question. "Anger, I suppose. When a dragon is harmed, their pride is harmed, so they desire to inflict harm on whoever it was that offended them." Although his tone indicated disinterest as he spoke, Xzar mulled over the fact that he had actually summarizing his entire life and managed to make his whole charade for revenge look stupid in a single sentence, to his unamusement.

"But don't they realize how sad it makes that dragon's friends?" Sherry tries to piece everything together, but her young mind has difficulty understanding. "If someone hurt someone else, then that dragon's friends would get upset... and then they'd try to hurt that dragon, wouldn't they...?"

"That is true," Xzar stated, hating to have to agree with the little dragon. He understood the consequences of revenge fully, but he wouldn't let it stop him from paying Chrysos back for destroying his name and pride as an army commander. The leaders' decision to exile him for a mere accident was stupid, so he didn't care if his stupid act of revenge would send the whole tribe spiraling into a bloody, vengeful maelstrom. //Maelstrom,// he reminded himself. //That is why I have named myself that. It is my destiny to bring chaos and destruction upon Chrysos.// But a small voice inside him repeatedly asked, //Is that all you are meant for? What happened to your deserve to serve and protect lives? Do you really care if Chrysos falls?//
Shaking his neck out, Xzar asked Sherry, "What does the fate of Aquilam matter to you? Aren't you of Chrysos?"

(*Stares at Turtlee coming through the window. Waves awkwardly*)

"Yeah, I'm from Chrysos, but I've got friends in Aquilam now, it'd make me sad if something happened, and they got hurt." As the little dragonet says this, she thinks about the Aquilam dragons she's met, Macgyver, who lost his leg to Maldius and tried to attack her, but it wasn't his fault, Noxaura, who said they'd likely never meet again, Ardens, and the magic trick he showed her, King Lennox, who reminds Sherry of her missing father, Prince Erwen... "You know... I think... sometimes people need to just say that they're sorry. Instead of getting all upset and angry... maybe people need to just stop for a moment and try to calm down and then talk to the person that hurt them. I don't think anybody would want their friends to get hurt, so if the two dragons got everything worked out themselves, their friends wouldn't have to get in the problem, too." She pauses a moment, thoughtfully, before asking, "Mister Xzar, do you think Maelstrom and Maldius have any friends?"

"It's just--I was wondering because I thought that maybe the reason that they hurt people is because they don't have any friends, so they don't know what it's like when their friends get hurt or sad." Sherry has calmed down quite a lot compared to earlier, the conversation with Xzar having taken her mind of off Adrianne's death. "If Maldius is as scary as he was in my nightmare... I don't think I'd be able to be friends with him, but... do you think Maelstrom is as scary as Maldius?"

"Because they have no friends?" Xzar muttered to himself. //I do not act for revenge because I don't have any friends. And I don't need a friend to understand how other dragons feel.// The thought of a friend brought Xzar back to the image in his head of the dragon he once knew back in Chrysos... was he a friend, he wondered? Did he really have friends, after all? And did he become vengeance-obsessed because he left that dragon? Sherry's drawling was meddling with Xzar's thoughts, and he furrowed his brows, concentrating on distracting himself from being disracted. "Oh yes, and so much more," he said, flattering himself. "Why he's so much scarier is because he's not a brainless purple eggplant like Maldius; he actually uses his head in order to make a real impact on his victims."

(Maldius: "Victims?" What victims? You haven't killed anybody!)

"Huh, I think Maldius has a brain though--wait a second!" Sherry's ears perk up, and she asks in a playful but somewhat mischievous voice, "Mister Xzar, you //have// met Maelstrom before, haven't you?"

(Maelstrom to Maldius: Shut up, you over-grown purple potato! You weren't invited to the conversation!)

Xzar's eye snapped wide open upon hearing Sherry's interjection. //Lizard tails!// "Of course not," he retorted, hiding his tension with a mildly offended tone. "Maelstrom is a myth for all I know. How could I possibly have met him?"

(Maldius: [to Maelstrom] I invited myself to this conversation! You're just upset because you know I'm riiiiight!)

Feeling as though she's caught on to Xzar's secret, Sherry giggles and tilts her head from side to side playfully. "I dunnnoooo, what you said made it sound like you've seen him before!"

(Maelstrom to Maldius: Grahhh, you sure are lucky that I don't immediately act upon my anger like you do!! Although, I'm sure you would feel very honored if you were to be my very first victim... *rubs palms together*)

Xzar spluttered for a reply. "That is simply ridiculous!" he snapped over his shoulder. "Don't go spewing out random assumptions like that, or nobody will become your friend!" //Why do I even bother if she finds out or not?// Xzar asked himself. //It's not like she's an enemy... although, she knows King Lennox personally, and she has no control over her tongue...// "I assumed those things about him by using the knowledge I have acquired on him from stories," he lied.

(Maldius: [to Maelstrom] Too bad for you, my magic is 100x stronger than yours! Maybe you could get Sherry to teach you some "advanced" magic, hmm?)

"Hee-hee!" Sherry grins and giggles, patting Xzar's neck. "Don't worry, Mister Xzar, I won't tell anyone that you met Maelstrom. I'm good at keeping secrets!"

May I get a quick update on where Sherry and Xzar are now, though? I kind of lost track. Sorry. <xD)

(Maelstrom to Maldius: "I told you to shut up! Besides, what do you know of the extent of my powers?" On that thought... I've recently thought more on what Maelstrom's abilities can do, although he probably won't discover them unil later...)

Maelstrom growled in annoyance and faced forward again, giving up on defending himself. "Whatever, but it's not like I'm gonna tell you anything about him," he stated, playing along with Sherry's assumption that he knew Maelstrom in order to hide that fact that he actually //was// Maelstrom, just in disguise.

( @Fluffy They're still in Solaris, I'm not sure if Xzar landed yet or not though XD )

Sherry grins when Xzar "admits" he knows Maelstrom. "That's ok, but, umm, next time you see him, can you ask him not to hurt people anymore? ... Especially me? Because I'd be really scared if he tried to hurt me... I don't want there to be two big scary dragons out to hurt me..."

I'm just gonna assume Tiluna and Wyvrick agreed to take a break or something... I dunno. <xD)

Wyvrick soared through the open air near Solaris, the wind battered his face as he flew. //So windy... You'd think a thousand other dragons were flying at the same time...// He grumbled inwardly. He began staring downward, thinking about what Tiluna had taught him about his shields, and what magic he might learn in the future.

He also wasn't watching where he was going.

( @Lilly: I'd love to share it with you, but it's pretty simple and incomplete right now. xP

Maelstrom to Maldius: *shoves an eggplant up Mal's maw* Haha, how ironic...)

Xzar rolled his eyes, although, below his illusion, only one eye was capable of doing so. "I assure you, Sherry, he does not seek to harm you. If he did, you'd already be dead." //As proof, you're sitting on his back right now...//

(Maldius: *spits out the eggplant in Maelstrom's face*)

At first, Sherry doesn't really know how to take that, but she smiles anyway. "Well... I'm glad he doesn't want to hurt me."

As he flew, thinking there were no other dragons near him, Wyvrick didn't notice that he was headed straight towards Xzar.
//Can I actually learn other types of magic? Is that possible for my kind?// He continued flying forward, looking down as he daydreamed.

(Maldius: *puts a board game on the floor* Want to play Candy Land with me?)

"Don't get too hopeful though," Xzar rambled on grumpily, but not without a hint of mischief in his tone. "You keep talking bad about him and he'll come from his deep, dark lair where he licks his enemy's bones dry, and when you're least expecting it, he'll attack!" Just then, an undetected object slammed into the two dragons, sending Xzar off course.

(I could've written that las part so much better, but oh well. XD

Maelstrom to Maldius: What's with you and Candy Land??)

Sherry yelps in surprise as the unidentified flying object slams into Xzar, quickly clutching to the red dragon's spines with all her might.

(Maldius: I'm bored and have nothing to do! I can't even go off and kill anybody! But at least I'm not getting WyvRick-Rolled like you just did!)

Wyvrick finally noticed Xzar coming, but obviously it was too late.
He instinctively put up a shield when the two collided, which definitely helped soften the impact, but it was quite weak.
After a moment of him balancing himself, he realized what had happened. //Great, now look at what you did, ignoramus.// He growled at himself.
He hovered in place, staring at the larger dragon, who he'd knocked clear off course. "Agh, I'm so sorry!" He called out, his tone more frustrated than anything.

For a moment, Xzar was spiraling uncontrollably through the air, but with skillful and rapid beats of his wings, the disguised dragon steadied himself. After sending a glance over his shoulder to make sure Sherry was still on his back, his head whipped around, searching for their assailant.

(Maldius: *to Maelstrom.)

I had a rebellion against Chrysos going, then, the moment 'you' show up, they all jump ship because they think that killing you is more important!"{Vitis is visibly irritated.}

Maldius glares at Vitis at first, but raises an eyebrow at the mention of a rebellion. "What's that, you say? I ruined your rebellion? Who's to say I cannot aid you with it?"

(Maldius: Yes, my plan worked! Now that Maelstrom's out of my way, the Blood Rose Rebellion is mine and mine alone to command!

@Fade Well, if you want to continue with the conversation, then yes, but you can say that Maelstrom shrugged it off and moved on.)

{Vitis picks his head up}"Help me? Really? Wait, how do I know you're not just messing with me?"

Looking down on the serpent before him with an amused grin, Maldius answers, "I am a dragon of war born for the sole purpose of destroying both tribes... why would I 'mess around' with the subject of rebellion?"

The thing is though that the days are gonna get super busy soon, so I probably won't be present for very many RPs...)

{Vitis grins, for once, it's a happy grin.//It's too good to be true.//}"Really? Made for destruction? What are your powers? Surely, a war machine like you has some impressive powers."

The dark dragon's grin widens at Vitis' remarks. "Yes, indeed I do... I have mastery over an element unique to myself, called the Mystic element, which may take on the attributes of any other elemental magic. Aside from that, I wield Illusion magic, and telekinesis." To demonstrate, Maldius' pupils glow a bright purple as he lifts Vitis entirely off the ground, holding him in the air. "What's more, I do not age with the passing of time, I never grow tired or weary, and I have no need of food or drink."

(Ah, I gotta go now! @Lilly: I hope to be able to stop by for a few hours every week, but it really depends on my homework load. See ya everybody! I'll see some of you tomorrow during SKeys!)

{Vitis gleefully laughs as he floats there}"That's so cool! Illusion Magic too? Ohohoho, just think of all the mayhem we could cause! We've gotta team up now!"

Maldius chuckles darkly, gently setting Vitis back on the ground as his eyes cease glowing. "Perhaps... but tell me, what are you capable of?"

{Vitis thinks for a moment.}"Well, I'm pretty good a sneaking. I can kill things quickly and silently by strangulation or just flat out breaking necks. I'm also pretty good with plans and schemes."

//You might be more useful to me than I thought, worm,// Maldius ponders. "Hmmm... so you are a stealthy type... Now, imagine if I gave you a fraction of my Illusion magic, what you could accomplish with invisibility..."

{Vitis slithered around Maldius.}"Share some Magic? With me? How exactly?"

"Like so..." Maldius digs his claws into the earth, his Mystic element tainting the dirt purple as he uses telekinesis and his manipulative element to form an amulet, and, as he has done before, he leaves a fraction of his power within. The dark dragon then offers the amulet to Vitis.

{Vitis' eyes widen to the size of dinner plates.}"Shiny........precious!{Vitis happily acceps the amulet and puts it on.}

Maldius grins faintly with amusement. "So long as you wear this amulet, you will be able to use some of my Illusion magic." //Plus, I'll always know where you are, in case you betray me...//

{Vitis gleefully begins to test the amulet, first turning different colors, then invisible, then into a disguise of an elongated species of drake.}"I-I have....limbs!"{Vitis looks like a dragonet in a candy store.}

Maldius silently observes Vitis, allowing him to test out his magic without interruptions.

(Hate to say it, but I gotta go ASAP)

{After a long session of testing, Vitis slithers right up to Maldius.}"So, what do we do first?"

(Mmm, ok. Shall we continue this next time?)
