I don't know how you're suppose to detail feathers, so I just guessed :P

Sam (Nicknamed: Sammy) was kidnapped from her parents when she was only 3 years old, she was trained to be a silent assassin. Taking out any targets she was given, the only rewards she got was praise, food and shelter.

After 17 years of killing, the people she'd worked for eventually got killed. Since having no one to take care of her or tell her what to do, she spent a few years aimlessly wandering, not knowing how to function as a proper member of a society who wanted supernatural beings dead.

She eventually met a Necromancer who took pity on the pathetic harpy, teaching her to use magic to make her wings invisible, but not her bird like feet/legs. She had to learn how to wear boots, which for her was pure torture.

The markings on her shoulders and face she was born with, they became more defined the older she got.

The back of her wings are darker and more black, the inside/front view is more light/brightly colored
