I heard this bird in Yosemite National Park less than a week ago, so I decided to draw a chibi gijinka of it. I wanted to draw gijinkas of all the new birds I saw or heard this week, but the Mountain Chickadee popped into my head first so I drew it.
Fact: I am 13 and irl, I have heard the calls of 4 of the 7 chickadee species in North America: Black-capped, Carolina, Chestnut-backed, and Mountain.
