Lan, a male sunny-weather Whisco, is carrying the deadily injured Nora, a female snow-weather Whisco on his back. The radiation was released into the prison, and the Whisco who hadn't escaped began mutating. But the scientist didn't know that when the genes of a Whisco hit that right amount of toxic air, (cont.)

They'll release a large amount of thick gas (with high levels of Plutonium) through their pores, and that is what causes their skin to rip as they mutate. Shocked by the Plutonium air released, the scientist froze. As the Whisco still trapped began mutating and what will be called "Airing", the scientist was engulfed in the highly toxic and radioactive gas.
Because of the origanal radiation mixing with Airing of the Whisco, it broke the concrete of the prison by force, and the fog outside began to help carry the radiation. Now it could spread not only to the Whisco, but it could reach humans and other animals in a 5-10 mile radius. this is Lan promising Nora they will escape.
