quiet snow falls
and settles on the ground
only to be trampled again
as the kids play their game
out on the darkened streets
a metal heart beats
a lonely little being
unnatural, yet pure
two met upon the battlefield
and formed such a bond

as the quiet snow kept the metal heart beating.
If you didnt get that, Snowfall was bullied as a kid while Nick thought he was an unnatural monster until they met and fell in love.

but I think you meant 'break' not 'brake' unless they were in a car at the time.
