Lixue has always been the older sibling that Guiren could depend on. Guiren tells them they can come to him whenever they're feeling sad, angry, etc. but they don't. They feel like they'd only trouble him with their own issues and don't want to worry him.
Even if Guiren pushes them, Lixue only pushes back with an equal amount of force.
They're always smiling and acting like everything is okay, but they're really not.
They just need to make a friend that they can count on.
