Also you can use daMuro to draw and it is like a more advanced version of colors but it is completely free [some of the brushes like dragon used to cost money but not anymore]. It even has a playback feature and you can see how the artist saw it with the artist view option

Also they have april fool's jokes

I think tumblr had the best april fool's joke of all the websites this year because they made a parody of the US election but with lizards and they even had propaganda videos [including controversy about one candidate who was not actually a lizard but in fact a salamander].

Also one time for april fool's deviantart had troll face figures running around on the website randomly and it freaked people out XD
Another time they changed everyone's icons to team jacob or team edward

Also there are other groups too besides the colors one [you can even make your own, I made one about anglerfish]

Also there is a forum and you can also post journal entries and post drawings in your comments

Also you can post much much much much much much much more than 3 drawings per day

But you may want to get an ad-blocker because I have gotten pop-ups from them before
