Suddenly, Casey awoke in a darkened room, her head buzzing in pain.

She was only able to see a faint light far above her. Casey cursed spitefully & blindly felt the walls, looking to escape. Using Baba-sama's staff, she found a passage leading further into the dark.

She was so lost in her quest to find the last Mask of the Gods, & she now suffered for it. The last thing she recalled was finding a room glittering in gold - & the Mask of the Gods must have been close behind - before she blacked out. Her guides must have struck her on the head & left her for dead to enjoy the riches for themselves.

Casey slowly made her way on the winding path until she made out a glimmer of light. She squinted & rounded a corner - it opened into a large room filled with treasures unnumbered. She gasped in awe of the sight, winded not by the untold riches laying about the chamber, but something more incredible - the odd view of a body of water, suspended in the air.

Fish lingered just past the surface, glittering with impossible sunlight so far underground as quiet waves sloshed back & forth with the upsidedown tide.

Casey was drawn into the room filled with glittering sunlight towards a swaying rope that extended a foot from the ground deep into the watery depths at the ceiling.

She took a hold of the aged rope & glanced upwards into a great beam of sunlight.

It was then Casey knew what she needed to do.

She began to climb.
