When Andrius was born he was small compared to the other new born dragons. His father was tall and dark, his eyes always reflected his anger and pain from his past, but his mother was completely the opposite. She was gentle sweet and her eyes reflected her love for every living creature, she always had a positive additude and almost never got mad but when she did it was a sight to see. Andrius blinked open his eyes and looked up at his mom and dad and smiled. He had tiny little fins down his head and stopped at the middle of his back. His tiny tail had a golden spiky club, that glowed when he was happy which was almost everyday. Then a few days after his birth Andrius was playing with one of the bigger hatchlings when he fell over sudden like. The hatchling stopped in his tracks and his eyes widened, he let out a roar to his mother who was over to the scene in seconds. "what did you do Toby?!!" she snarled at the little dragon he tucked his tail in submission and growled at his mother,
"I didn't do anything! I swear! We were playing and he just fell over! I'm sorry!" the mother eyed him then sent him over to his den
"I'll deal with you later!" Toby slunk over to the den and rested his head. He was worried about his friend and didn't understand what had happened.

A few days went past and Andrius had gotten a little better but not by much. His father was pacing outside of the den Andrius was sleeping in when his mother emerged from it. "I finally got him to close his eyes. Took a whole rabbit but he finally dosed off." his mother watched his father, who was still pacing back and forth "look Harold! He is still your son, he is still healthy just a little sick! He's going to be fine" Harold turned his head to looked at Andrius' mother.
"tiffany! He's blind! I can't have a blind child!" Harold returned to his pacing while tiffany stood there shocked at his response,
"Harold you can't say that! He's just....special! He has a purpose in this world you know! Everything does, its what leads our destinys. I can't believe you would say something like that!" Harold turned his head to looked at tiffany and say sorry but it was too late she was already walking off. Harold growled and walked into the den, Andrius was wide awake now and stumbling around trying to figure out where everything was. Harold sat down next to his blind son, his brilliant golden eyes were now replaced by light blue eyes. Harold sighed and laid down watching his son when he heard a noise from outside. He raised his head and looked out the den opening to see Toby at the entrance. His eyes were narrowed and his lips were raised showing his yellow teeth, when he noticed Harold looking at him, he quickly replaced his snarled with a grin. Toby turned and left, heading towards his own den. When Toby had turned was when Harold noticed the scar down his side made by his mother. The pack Andrius lived in were very strict, they made sure every dragon was disciplined, one foot out of line you got a scar to prove it. Harold's eyes widened and he looked back at Andrius who was now resting. Toby's mother was not a force to be wreckened with.

A few years past and Andrius had finally gotten used to his blindness. He could assume where everything was perfectly, he felt like he had a third eye that could help him see great. Many dragons teased him about his blindness, played tricks on him and spread rumors that he was blind as a bat and wouldn't last five minutes out side of the pack. As those years went past more and more rumors went around and even the adult dragons were starting to whisper behind his back. Andrius grew and grew until he was half of his size of his father. But one day on his birthday Toby lashed out all the anger he had been holding back those years. "you! Andrius you caused me pain! You caused me to get this scar down my side! You caused me to have no friends! And you didn't care at all! Your selfish!" Andrius raised his head and looked at Toby and growled, he raised his lips showing his teeth and gums. His blind eyes narrowed, locked on Toby. And his tail was swinging back and forth in anger. He had been raised not to take anything from anyone.
"really Toby? I'm the selfish one? You never visited me when I was ill! YOU never cared! How do you think that made me feel?! You were my one friend and you abused that power when you never said sorry for making me blind!" Toby's eyes widened and he backed up. All the dragons turned to Toby when they heard that last line and growled in shock. Toby kept backing up until he bumped into the chief of the pack, he slowly turned around and lowered his head. The chief eyed him and looked over the pack and growled,
"this dragon will be sent to exile for the rest of his life, we will sent out the roar to let the other dragons know that he is not to be aloud into another pack for the remainder of his life, whether it be long or very short." the leader grabbed Toby by the scruff and dropped him out side the pack borders, Andrius was there watching him as he left. And that's when suddenly it felt as if everything went into place after that moment for Andrius.

Quite a few more years went by and the rumors were still going on. One day when Andrius was practicing battle routines with his father he felt eyes burning a hole in the back of his head and he raised his tail and swung it back and forth barely hitting the dragon that sat there. When he turned around to face the dragon, in his mind he saw that it was a female, she had two golden horns on her had and was pure white. She had brilliant dark blue eyes that reflected her curiosity. Andrius tilted he head slightly and growled "who are you? And why are you watching me?" the dragon got up and faced Andrius head on "I'm a rouge, my name is for you to find out and..." she paused, grinned and narrowed her blue eyes at Andrius "I'm watching you because I want to recruit you for my pack, we have these dragons that attack every year and each year they become stronger and stronger and relentless. With you there you could act horribly blind then surprise them with your strength. Scaring them away forever. What do you think?" Andrius raised his head and growled,
"I AM blind, and ill have to think about it...." he snorted and went back to his training. He heard the dragon leap into a tree and snarl
"you have two days to think about it, ill be back here in two days, I expect you to be too" and then she was gone. Andrius practiced even harder that day, for he new what his answer was for that dragon. Its was a simple yes.

Two days pasted and Andrius waited at the training grounds that day. He was staring at his tail club when he heard the dragon landed behind him and jumped to attack him. He blocked it with his tail and sliced her leg with the club. The dragon dropped to the ground and looked at her leg, the cut went down one side over leg and wasnt bleeding, just a mere scratch. Andrius got to his feet and turned around to the dragon who stood there in shock, it was the dragon he had ment two days early. He laughed
"I could hear you coming, you need to work on your stealth a little bit more." she snorted and sat down
"you heard me coming huh? Ill think about it, so have you thought about my offer?" Andrius growled and wrapped his tail around him,
"yes I have and the answer is yes. Ill help you and your pack" the dragon nearly jumped with joy but remembering her training, she kept calm and nodded her head.
"wise choice, follow me" she got to her feet and led the way to the pack, Andrius followed behind. (ill finish in a bit!)

when they got to the pack, the dragons rejoiced for they had found a new warrior to aid them in the battle with the dragons. Andrius continued to practice his battle tactics and offered tips to the other dragons to help them become stronger. Then the day came when the dragons were to attack, the old and young were hidden where nobody could ever find them and Andrius was at the head of the group, ready to lead them into the battle, the female dragon at his side, who's name he learned was Regina. Andrius was sharpening his tail club when he heard the roar in the distance, he raised his head and snarled "their coming! Stations!" all the pack hurried to their places and Andrius growled his teeth glowing in the sunlight. The dragons appeared in front of the Andrius, the leader was tall and Andrius could feel the anger spilling from him. That's when he noticed they weren't dragons, but rather they were nightmares ( @Shadowpikaboo's species) the leader was a tall black nightmare, he had green flames and yellow eyes, he had chains draped all over his body and were hanging down. He smiled and stepped forward,
"who is this? A little blind dragon? Did you lose your mommy?" Andrius' eyes narrowed and his tail slammed the ground so hard it left a dent in the ground. His teeth were bared and he was not happy. The nightmare took a step back when he saw the dent in the ground, he raised his head and growled "who do you think you are challenging me?! King of the nightmares?!" Andrius roared for the first time in a long time. It was deep roar, much like a spinosaururs egyptigus would sound like. The nightmares behind the leader backed up in shock, the leader twitched his tail and three chains came out of nowhere, locking onto Andrius, one around his neck that was tied to another chain that was around him muzzle. The other two chains locked onto his tail, his most deadly weapon was now restrained. Andrius tried to roar but couldn't open his mouth wide enough. He narrowed his eyes and growled,
"what do you think you're doing?!" the nightmare stepped forward and pinned Andrius to the ground with a hoof
"your going to come work for me.... And if you object or try to run, I will hurt you.... Got it?" Andrius growled
"let me stay here for two years longer.... If I don't like it I will follow you and your band of merry....men" he spat the last word out like it was dung. The nightmare, still pinning him down, thought about his offer then growled
"very well, but you as requested going to keep these chain on you! They will break in the future but not soon, they have a long way to go" then with that they were gone. Andrius laid there in the mud, the chains tied on him tight so he couldn't get them off. He growled in frustration and knew it was hopeless, he was blind and now disarmed.

about two years went by and Andrius now had a son. His son was nothing like him, he looked more like his mother, golden scales, golden horns and dark blue eyes. Andrius also heard rumors of nightmares planning on taking over the realms and a prophecy of one with golden scales were to stop them. Andrius knew they were talking about his son bones, so he put his plan into action. He lured the chief away from the pack and pushed him into a toxic pit hoping his son would follow, and sure enough he did. When Andrius saw him peer over the side he pushes him in and returned to the pack. His son's ,bones, mother had heard of cruel things he had done and she scratched him over his left eye leaving him to live with the pain and regret. That scratch left three scars over his left eye and he knew what he had to do, he had to go and work for the nightmare. The next day the nightmare showed up and asked him if he thought about his offer and Andrius said that he had excepted and the nightmare grinned. He threw a portal stone and traveled to his kingdom with Andrius by his side.

When they got there the nightmare showed him where he would sit. He was to sit by a throne at the end of a long hallway with pillars wrapped in chains. Andrius sniffed the area where he was support to sit and found traces of another dragon. He turned his head to the nightmare and growled "I'm not your pet! I'm not a force-" he was cut off by the sound of chains shooting down and grabbing Andrius, lifting him off the ground by his throat.
"you will call me malice, and I know your not a pet you pathetic lizard. Your my general." the chains released Andrius and he dropped to the ground. He laid there breathing heavy,
"what....happened....to your.....other.....general?" malice walked over to him and snorted,
"what do you think? He betrayed me, so he had what was coming for him." Andrius gradually got to his feet and eyed the nightmare, he was far bigger then him and stronger so he felt he knew why the last general was afraid. The nightmare shifted and there stood before Andrius, a human. Andrius snorted and his eyes widened,
"your a human?! How pathetic!" malice flicked his wrist and the chains above Andrius started to move again
"you will not call me pathetic! Lizard breath!" Andrius raised his head
"alright....malice what do you need ME for?" malice grabbed the chain on Andrius' snout and laughed
"you will help me find SoledormirsKeys and take over the realms or you will face your real fate. You and I both know what that is." Andrius eyed him
"alright" malice clapped his hands,
"great! In those doors you will find a pack of basset trunkfish, send them to a temple in skyfall isle for there is a group there looking for the keys I wish to find! Leave none alive" he flicked his wrist, and Andrius walked to the end of the hallway, his real journey was just beginning.

Wow, this is amazing! You wrote this out so well, I felt I could have been reading a real book. What an incredibly thought out backstory. Nice job! ^-^

Re: That was just off the top of your head?! Gosh, you are crazy talented! Lol I have yet to read the Hp books. I was even at a Barns And Noble Monday and instead of books like that, I got the first Warrior cats book. XD

And hey, I read Warriors! Well, used to - I haven't read any of them in a long time. 'XD My little brother just finished the first four series though, so he's basically been reminding me of all the events that ever happened. XD
