The sound Zeharu's were hunted so they could be turned into man-made weapons designed to hunt down and destroy other Zeharu's.

Sound Zeharu's used screeches, almost like a bat, to locate any enemies and prey, no matter how well they were hidden.
------This part is a bit brutal----------
Once humanity learned of their abilities, they captured them, ripped off their manes, scales, and skin. They also cut off their whiskers. Witches would use spells to keep them alive during this brutal process, and humans would build their armor, drilling the nails into the Zeharu's muscle to attach the parts.

They embedded phoenix fire into the remaining tissue, to keep the Zeharu alive and to give them more power. They are controlled by people and obey any order.

Their only kill point is the glass on their chests, inside lays their heart.
