Maldius growls, examining the damage that has come to his fortress, and his own pride. //I am Maldius, the feared destroyer, destined to bring about the end... yet here I lay, poisoned and bound in chains, unable to hardly move! But how could they have possibly known my weakness to poison!?// The dark dragon snarls vehemently up at the draugr commander over him.

( @Radiant: Lol! I generally don't play any videogames nowadays. T-T)

//I need to know where Casta was taken...// Ivy mused as she crept through the castle hallways as quietly as her bulk would allow. The strange snowstorm had destroyed part of the fortress, but luckily nothing had fallen and hit her. She found the doorway to the room Maldius was in and carefully slipped her head inside. She scowled hatefully when she saw the purple dragon, then grinned when she saw the condition he was in.

(I've never played monster hunter either, but I really want to try it. x3)

Mac, who was still unable to sleep resorted to pacing around in his room. There were burn marks along the walls, and paper and books scattered everywhere. "What are we going to do?!?! Maldius is alive and out to kill us and we are acting like everything is alright!" He growled to himself. "Oh no no noooo" He sat down, chewing on his nails nervously. "He ants to kill me! He wants to kill everyone!"

*Kill* Not ants hrggh

Erwen hurried his pace through Solaris. He didn't want to be caught in the crowds of dragons that awoke early. He jumped up and flew towards the palace and landed by the entrance silently.

Crowley awoke early. After giving his news to Vitis, he'd returned to his cave and fallen asleep almost immediately. Now he stretched his wings and flew out over the almost-deserted marketplace, looking around in case anyone familiar was nearby. //Wonder what I should do today?// he thought.

Nanashi was patching his armor with more ice, and keeping an eye out for any more enemies as he guarded Maldius and Blackice with the horde of draugr, when Ivy came in he assume she must not be an enemy cuz though draugrs didn't attacker
He raised a eyebrows at Ivy
Blackice thrashed in his ice restraints "that dam Necromancer! " //what ever he did took most of my energy....but they still ice....//
He looks at Maldius and then to Ivy

Realising she'd been spotted, Ivy sighed loudly and stepped forwards into the room, barely sparing a glance at Maldius and Blackice. She looked up at Nanashi and showed her teeth slightly. 'Are you working with those undead brutes, by any chance?'

(Lilly: I replied to your comment in the chatroom, by the way.)

Maldius glares as he sees the revoltingly green hide of Ivy. "You..." he growls, furious over his prisoner's realease.

(Oh my goodness, it's been so long since I've drawn Maelstrom that I don't remember how to draw him. TuT)

Alfred sighed in relief when Kremos accepted the papers explaining Nitika was his caretaker/nursemaid for his medical condition. He watch Kremos go. Alfred was just glad he didn't have to use one of his other options to get out of the jam. He look at Nikita and smiled "well that's taking care of!! like I said as long as you stick with me. You should be good!!"

Scratch finally reached the tattered Fortress, and limped through the entrance. "Maldius? Are you here?" He yelled.

Mac stared at his paw, tired bags under his eyes. "I'm just so tired-" He suddenly grabbed the peice of glass. "No! You can't sleep!" He moved the glass to cut his shoulder again, but his hand was shaking so badly it caused him to drop it. It caused a gash to form below his eye. "Ow!" He yelled, rubbing the bleeding cut. "Stupid-" His eyes caught his flowerbed, and he sighed sadly.

( @Radiant I saw that, just haven't replied yet XP I imagine Maldius' voice sounding like either Deathwing from World of Warcraft or Malefor from The Legend of Spyro, but moreso Deathwing. Usually I'll watch the video "Deathwing's Dragon Soul Voice" by 3DTyrant when I watch videos for Deathwing :p

Hmm, not really sure how to describe how I imagine Crowley's voice, but I definitely imagine him squaking like a crow XP I'll have to look up some videos. Ivy I imagine having a young-middle aged woman's voice. I'll have to find a video for that, too XD )

Nanashi nodded at her " we are allies...." he look at her examining the situation "are you one of the prisoners they've came to save?"

(So, they haven't gone to their rooms and it's morning? Did they stay up all night? xD)

Nitika still looked horribly nervous, but she let out a sigh of relief. "Well, you were right. I suppose I should've trusted you more." She chuckled awkwardly.

After the discussion with the past queen Noxaura was finally able to calm her corrupted thoughts. An agreement was struck and now she was flying past the border with three draugrs following close behind, luckily the dark sky hid them well as they traveled.

Hearing the voice of his servant, Maldius manages to raise his voice. "Beware, Scratch, there are many... the enemy has me bound!" he shouts back, before coughing up purple-tainted blood.

(Lilly: Hmm, sounds interesting. Crowley's voice is hard to describe. But the squawking part is definitely accurate. XD)

Ivy narrowed her eyes and took a step closer, figuring that Maldius and his cronies were harmless at the moment. 'Yes. I was captured while protecting a friend of mine... his name is Casta, and he's a little wingless dragon. You don't happen to know where he might be, do you?

Sherry sleeps soundly, not having woken up since Mac and Erwen left.

Scratch let out a hiss. "I managed to get rid of most of the undead beasts, but I don't sense them anymore..." He stated, glancing around. "I will untie you." Scratch got out his daggers, slowly walking down the hallway ready to be ambushed.

Alfred chuckled and did a warm smile "hay It's cool Nikita!! what are friends for!! "
Teresa hopped over to them "now what are we going to do?"
Alfred " hi squirt!"
Teresa found face "now I'm squirt?"

Erwen walked swiftly through the halls. He found his way to Macgyver's door and knocked. "I wasn't finished speaking to you."

Maelstrom sat on the rocky outcropping outside his cave as he normally did, watching the land with narrowed eyes. //Maldius has not returned yet.... I asked him to discard of that white, scrawny worm - a quick and effortless task - so he should have returned to me to inform that the deed was done within the day.... Why then has he still not shown up?//

Nanashi unfazed by her " my apologies Miss, but I have not see your friend... I was in the heart of the battle during most of the assault" he keep a Keen Eye on his surroundings

( @Lilly: Haha, I suppose so. XD I'm considering altering his design (as I usually do with my OCs a week after posting them), as I rushed his original design and did not put my all into it. Not sure though.)

Nitika's tail slowly swished back and forth as she thought, causing a quiet rattle to echo through the room.
"We should search for a scholar who can read those runes..." She suggested, "Where would be the best place to start? Perhaps one of the libraries?"

After a few more minutes of flying Noxaura finally spotted the remote cave she'd be directed to. Quickly she landed with the draugrs in tow. She entered the cave slowly and looked around with a cautious look.

"... Ha.... hahaha... hahahahahaha!" Maldius breaks into a fit of laughter, eyeing ivy wickedly. "You're so worried about that little... llama, aren't you!? You can't save him, Ivy! Hahaha, HAHAHA!!"

Ivy bared her teeth and whirled around to snarl at Maldius, suddenly enraged. 'You disgusting monster!' she hissed. 'You'll tell me what you did you him, now! I don't think you're in any position to argue.'

Macgyver looked at his plants and poked them. "Are you evil too? Are you going to kill me?" He stared at his flowers until a sharp nock at his door startled him. "Ah! Erwen! Oh yes- I'll be at the door in one moment-" He quickly shoved books and prices of parchment behind his cabinets, and swept away the shattered glass on the floor. He ran to the door and opened it. "Hello! Please um- excuse the mess"

Scratch hissed to Casta. "This way..." He whispered to the beast. "Don't try anything, and make yourself useful"

(I misread that as 'Casta snorted cold cornflakes')

Maldius' laughter escalates into a coughing fit. "Oh, I didn't touch him... it was my servant's magic that turned him into the beast he is. It was a very... painful... process." The dark dragon grins, pleased with Ivy's fury.

( @Radiant omg XD)

Slowly, Ivy turned to stare at Blackice. 'It was you, wasn't it? You're the one who did that to him! AAAGH!' She shrieked in frustration. 'I'd kill both of you right now if I could!'

( @Radiant I didn't know Shadow Beasts could do that XD )

Erwen stood there and examined the room with a bored look. His expression gave away a look of worry when he looked at Mac. "Are you alright?"

Alfred got a big smile "I love libraries!!!
Teresa " Mmmm I guess we can go look for one...I'm not sure where one would be thought..."
Alfred "weeeellllll if Aquilam city's are similar to Chrysos capital Wyvane there would be several libraries,...but the main one would be in the Palace....though I'm not accustomed to Solaris capital..Mmmm that's higher responsibility then I would like..." he was in deep thought

Meanwhile, above the fortress, a flurry of cold wingbeats herald the arrival of several new dragons, which circle the dark structure as they wait for an opportunity to fulfill their orders.

//Perhaps he's finally chosen to abandon me,// Maelstrom considered idly. He snorted. //He did speak a fraction of truth: I sit around far too much. Whether my rebellion still stands or not, I must take action. My cause will not move on its own.// Rising to his feet, the cyborg dragon spread his massive wings and leapt off the ledge. Immediately, a wind current caught him and carried him into the atmosphere, where he could see all of Lecra. //Now, where to?// he pondered, head swiveling about like a hawk's. Seeing his destination, Maelstrom altered his flight and descended towards the nearest citied area to him: Solaris.

Blackice flinched at her Outburst at him knowing he couldn't do much being bound

"I'm not accustomed to any laws in Solaris... But isn't there some way we can get permission to enter the Palace Library?"
Nitika asked, "I guess we don't HAVE to go there, but I think it'd be our best bet."

(Oooo ooh boy... XD )

"Heheh... hehaha..." Maldius chuckles darkly. "In the end, you've failed to save him, Ivy... There's nothing you can do for him now."

Noxaura turned to face the entrance to see it being blocked by the draugrs. //Well that answers that question.// She looked around once more before settling in the back of the cave.

Sherry slowly gets up, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes as she wakes up. Starting her day off with a smile, the little dragonet bounces happily over to Adrianne. "Hey, wake up, sleepyhead!"

Ivy lunged forward and snapped her venomous fangs close to Maldius' face. 'SHUT UP!' she screamed, her voice echoing around the ruined fortress. 'YOU'RE WEAK AND HELPLESS! I COULD KILL YOU HERE AND NOW!' She raised her claws as if intending to carry out her threat, but at the last moment she whirled around and shoved her face close to Blackice's instead. 'You! Tell me how to reverse what you did to him!'

(Maldius must have a death wish, making Ivy angry when he's unable to defend himself.)

Mac nodded, putting on a mock cheerfulness again. "Oh yes, I'm fine!" He said, but his eyes had a nervous twinge to them. "What about you? How is the King doing? I've never got a chance to speak with him at all."

(Maldius: *mega trollface*)

"WILL you STOP breathing so loudly?!?!" Scratch yelled at Casta a little too loudly. He clamped his paws over his mouth and glared the beast down.

Alfred rub his forehead trying to think of their options // someone might know who I am.... I just don't want to deal with that ...what if I have to negotiate...that's something my parents or ant has done...but Teresa...and princess needs are help// he looks Teresa "it would be the best bet...." he smiled but focus

Erwen gave Mac an odd look before sighing. "My father is fine...you clearly are not." He motioned to the new cut on Mac's face and then to the room.

Crowley swooped down and landed in a streetside in Solaris, then proceeded to casually groom his wing feathers while keeping an eye out in case anyone approached him.

"Now it's my turn to tell you that everything will be fine!"
Nitika still felt nervous, but she wanted to stay optimistic. "I'm ready whenever you're both ready." She smiled.

Blackice screamed at her outburst
"I--I don't know! I just do it!...it just coming over me...it...just...what...blood..." he growled at her
Nanashi Narrows his eyes at ice and move closer and growls at him "that's enough out of you" he raises his paws and Titans his bonds
Blackice thrashed and gritted his teeth in pain before settling down again
Nanashi looks at Ivy and to Blackice "this thing has evil in it"

Mac sighed. "I've been having a recurring nightmare which I very much want to avoid, even if that means that I have to stop sleeping. And I've become excessively parinoid. I mean, who wouldn't get scared if they knew one individual wanted to kill you and your whole kingdom?" He said, his wings moving in a nervous way.

Scratch stared at Casta. "Now be a good dog and follow me! And DONT wander off!" He said in a harsh whisper. He didn't pay attention to the fact Casta was getting agitated, and nor did he care.

Adrianne rolled over and yawned at
Sherry "is it morning already?" she gets up and stretches she looks at the little Dragonette " so where do you want to go today sunny?"

As Maelstrom neared the outer rings of Solaris, his mind sent a command to the collar around his neck, and his appearance suddenly rippled like a disturbed reflection in water. His color and entire body shape warped into a different dragon, and he landed not as Maelstrom but as Xzar on the cobblestone streets. Wings settling tightly against his dull back, he slinked into the city.

Ivy let out a long sigh and turned to Blackice. Her rage had evaporated, leaving only exhaustion and a regretful note in her voice. 'I don't even know where Casta was taken,' she said to Nanashi. 'Maybe I should give up. He became a monster because I couldn't rescue him...' She looked down at her claws, brooding.

"Ooh, I know! How about we go to the mountains today? I wanna see that white stuff that's up there!" Sherry exclaims, bouncing around happily. "Come on Adrianne, let's go!"

Erwen sighed and walked into Mac's room, leaving the door open behind him. "You need to sleep, you won't be any help to anyone exhausted." He winced as a shard of glass got stuck in one of his paws. "What were you doing in here?"

Alfred shook his head and smiled at her "you're right!! Life to short to have to worry about the little things!" He jumped up "let's grab Life by the horns and see where it takes us!" He shouted cheerfully

Crowley was just starting to get bored when he noticed an unfamiliar dull-coloured dragon landing in a nearby street. Grinning at the prospect of causing some trouble, he hurried over to shout at Xzar. 'Hey, who're you?'

Nanashi placed a paw on Ivy shoulder " you shouldn't give up on your friends...I'm sure there's a cure...we just have to find it..."

"That's the spirit!" Nitika laughed.
Although she didn't know what they were heading into, she felt a slight calmness come over her as she followed Alfred and Teresa out into the streets of Solaris.
She took a deep breath, hoping her nerves wouldn't cause her to get them all into trouble.

Ivy nodded quietly and looked up at Nanashi. 'I suppose that's true. Maybe there's a cure... somewhere.' A hint of a smirk appeared on her face. 'And what's your name, handsome?'

Adrianne " you mean snow?" //Yeah I guess she's never seen this stuff might as well once in your life// she looks at Sherry and smiled "it's will be cold better bring some extra blankets, but yeah we can go" she move to the door

Scratch let out an outraged shreik as Casta pounced on him. "YOU DISCUSTING MUTT! GET OFF OF ME BEFORE I SLIT YOUR THROAT!"

Mac thought for a moment. "Mabye you're right..." But his expression hardened. "But no. I can still think properly. If the situation is urgent, rest can wait. And I was doing my job. I was trying to find a way to assist the King with Aqualam's little Maldius problem."

Maldius silently grins--but then his expression changes as a dragon suddenly falls from the destroyed ceiling, landing in front of Nanashi.

But, it isn't just a dragon...
It's a draugr.

The draugr is frozen in various places, and makes a crunching noise if it moves those limbs even the slightest. Unlike the Necromancer's draugrs, this one's eyes are pitch black, like a bottomless abyss. Exhaling cold air, the draugr speaks, "We have come... for the puppet."

As the creature finishes speaking, several similar draugrs fall from the sky, two of them swooping down and lifting Maldius into the air and away from the fortress. The dark dragon snarls, looking between his two new captors. "What is this!?"

(Back! @Lilly: Sure! I'll try to get him to meet up with them once he can escape the grouchy bird-brain's suspicions. x3)

Erwen narrowed his eyes. "What if a friend needs help, will you still be able to think clearly then?" He pulls the glass out of his paw and tosses it into the corner. He examines the few papers Mac wasn't able to push away. "What are those?"

Nanashi took his paw off her " no name" he snorted cool air.

he looks up and see the black Eyed draugr coming through the broken ceiling // colorful metaphor// moved by Ivy and growls at the Draugr "your not talking him anywhere!" The Necromancer's  draugrs charge

Xzar's ear twitched and swiveled in the direction from which the crow-dragon's voice chimed. //Why do you choose to single me out, of all dragons?// he groaned inwardly. //I thought for sure this design was tye best appearance for /not/ grabbing attention.// He rolled his eyes in exasperation, but, not wanting to cause any trouble, Xzar forced himself to turn towards the speaker. "Do you make it a hobby to memorize every dragon's face in this city?" he asked, voice flat with sarcasm.

(Ah, deja-vu... I've used a line very similar to that before.)

Alfred continued walking down the streets bobbing his head to a song he was singing " Oh What a Beautiful Morning!! Oh What a Beautiful Day!! I got a brand new feeling everything's going my way!!"

//No name?// Ivy thought in surprise. //That's so cool and mysterious! Ooh, I like this dragon. I like him a lot.// She was then distracted from her fantasies by the draugrs crashing through the ceiling and turned to see what was going on.

Scratch blinked at Casta. He was confused as to why the beast didn't rip his throat out. He slowly put down his knife, seeing as it was safe.

Mac reached out his hand. "Don't touch those!" But he was too late. The pages were old, and old ink drawings of ancient cursed objects were visible on each paper. One had a picture of a Mirror, and in red ink the word "Not likely" On another paper, a picture of a book with the words "Importaint- Bait"was visible. And the last was a picture of a bracelet, and the word "Possible" Scribbbled with the same red ink.

'Nope,' Crowley responded, loping easily towards Xzar. 'But I do remember a lot of dragons, and I've never seen you before. I bet you're from Chrysos. Or maybe you're a rogue sneaking around the city.' He smirked up at the bigger dragon.

(Nanashi grab Ivy here take this with you! )

Noxaura curled in a ball, trying to take up as little space as possible. The draugrs that had accompanied her were silently keeping their eyes on the world outside. //I doubt they'd let me wander on my own, and now that it's morning they wouldn't want to accompany me either.//

Several black-eyed draugrs intercept the Necromancer's draugrs, ensuring that the two carrying Maldius escape smoothly.
The dark dragon growls, furious that, once again, he is unable to defend himself. "Who are you!? Where are you taking me?! ANSWER ME-"

"Shut it, stupid boy," both draugrs speak in unison, not looking at their captive.

Maldius bites his tounge, seething with rage.

Nitika observed their surroundings as they walked. She'd never been to Solaris before, so it was easy for her to be sidetracted by how the city was built.
She nearly strayed away from the group, but quickly realized what she was doing, and ran back. "This city is massive..." She muttered under her breath.

"Keep your nosy maw out of business that's not yours," Xzar hissed, snout wrinkling as he brought his head down to the crow-dragon's level. "I don't play games with youths."

( @Shadow HAHA! XD )

Erwen gently picked up the old pages and looked over them slowly. He turned to look at Mac with a serious expression. "What are these? Are there more?"

( @Shadow: XDD)

'Ooooh, you're not a nice guy, are you?' Crowley teleported onto a nearby roof, giving him a height advantage over the other dragon. 'Go on, then. Do whatever you need to do. I won't follow you... maybe.'

Sherry follows after Adrianne excitedly. "Oh boy, another adventure! I'm so excited! I wonder what we'll find up there! I bet it's really pretty!!"

(Ivy: I get the feeling I'm being insulted again. >:L)

(Maldius: [to Ivy] I think what Nanashi's trying to say is "You are hideous and you make me sick, get out of my life.")

The illusion over Maelstrom hid his surprised expression when the crow-dragon somehow teleported onto a nearby roof. //Interesting ability,// he mused. //I would recruit him into my cause if he weren't so rebellious-looking.// "Whatever you want," Xzar rumbled, voice heavy with disinterest. "If it's not plainly obviously, my life is incredibly dull, so I won't be surprised if you get bored of stalking me." With a smoky huff, Xzar turned and resumed his walk.

(Poor Ivy. XD)

(Ivy to Maldius: Why on Lecra would he think THAT? I'm the most beautiful, elegant dragon in the world! Unlike YOU, you disgusting pile of purple vomit!)

"Those are illustrations and descriptions of every recorded cursed object in existence. Some of them are very nasty, really...." He reached to a heavy book sitting on his shelf. "Truly nasty. There are goblets that poison anyone who drinks liquid from them, mirrors that can talk, blades that keep the souls of every victim it kills..." Mac handed Erwen the book. "Be careful, it's quite nauseating..."

(Shots fired)

Crowley yawned hugely and settled down on the roof to watch Xzar walking away. 'Yeah, whatever. Have fun with your 'life'.'

Scratch snapped out of his astonishment. "HEY! You get back here THIS INSTANT!" He ran as fast as he could to catch up to Casta.

Erwen took hold of the book and flipped through a few of the pages before setting it aside. "Why were you researching these items?" He paused. "Have you seen anything...familer?"

(Kole: That's true, though I bet Casta wouldn't like her so much if she were constantly flirting with him.)

Adrianne "I'm sure it is" she smiled at her. She continued
walking the streets she see a familiar face in the crowd and freezes to attention " Pr---P--"
Alfred walk bye in the crowd.
She remember a promise she made with others long ago.
She swallows and continues walking

Once he was sure that he was out of the crow-dragon's sight, Xzar let out a tired sigh. //Aquilam dragons are such a pain. Always stirring up mischief.// After shaking his neck out, the former Chrysos dragon glanced about his surroundings. //Now, what did I come here for?//

(Maldius: [to Ivy] Originally, you were meant to be a flower, but all of vegetative life was disgusted with your hideousness, that even the plants can't stand your appearance, and thus you were born as a dragon. We of all creatures are most pitiable, being forced to live from day to day with our eyes being blinded from the horror that is you.)

(Naw, Malivy forever. <3)

Ivy's head turned to the doors as something crashed inside, her green eyes wide. 'What the... CASTA?'

(Ooh, burnnnn... *scatters salt everywhere*)

Blackice closed his eyes and focused using his own ice magic to tried to break his bonds amongst the chaos

(To Maldius: Can't you see? You're both obnoxiously gross colors, you're both secretly vegetables, and you both look like puddles of vomit. There's nothing else to say but you're perfect for each other.)

"Well, familiar yes." He opened the book to a page and pointed. "A Nasty criminal hat that item before-" He paused. "No, that's not what you are asking.... Well, I've been dea searching to find a source of Maldius' power. I mean, no dragon could be that powerful. And if he really is, I'd eat my own tail. What I'm saying is, Maldius might have something, like these objects, that are enhancing his abilities. Kind of like my anklets repelling fire so I dont burn everything I touch."

Nitika stayed close to Alfred and Teresa as they walked through the crowd.
She hoped they would get to the palace soon. She didn't exactly favor being in a crowd where she could easily get lost.

Sherry hops onto Adrianne's back, humming a little tune, but then stops at Adrianne's odd behaviour. "Is something wrong, Adrianne?"

(Ivy to Fade: Excuse me?! I wouldn't go on a date with a revolting purple lizard like him if he was the last dragon alive!)

(Maldius: @Fade HOW DARE YOU, YOU COLDHEARTED ICY CHICKEN!)

(To Ivy: Buuuuuut you would if that revolting purple lizard was secretly a rotting purple eggplant?)

Erwen nodded slightly. "It's possible yes." He sat in thought for a moment before speaking again. "Was there anything that could be used agaisnt him?" //Or missing pages...//

(To Maldius: Don't thank me too much; you two were meant for each other - you just needed a little push. I wish you two good tidings! <3)

(Ivy to Fade: Oh, please shut up. You're making me nauseous.)

Adrianne shaking head "no it's nothing...I just thought I saw someone i help long ago..." //why is he here? Does his parents know?... he looks in good health...// she looks at Sherry and smiled
//I guess that was the agreement...so he can live his life how he chooses...// "we should keep going. You want to see the snow right?"

Mac hesitated for a moment, his expression going cold. "Yes. There is one." He hastily flipped to the last page. An image of a book lay on the paper drawn in the same ink as all of the other previous pictures. "It's the only page I didn't write on.... Look" He pointed to a list on the page, probably a list of all of the terrible things the book could do. "Whatever object this is, it has a really long list. And someone didn't like it, because the ink is smeared and unreadable." He gave it a look. "Unlike the others, there is no Creator listed. It seems... Ominous"

(To Ivy: And if you really wouldn't date him, even if he were the last living dragon in existence, I'm sure there are plenty zombies to choose from...? You seem to fancy them.)

Noxaura curled in on herself more. She couldn't remember the last time she slept or ate, most of her memories from wearing the ring were foggy. //I need to send a message, try to contact someone.//

(Ivy to Fade: I'd rather date a nice, intelligent dragon draugr than a piece of scum like him, thank you.)

I guess I kinda ditched them for the past couple of RPs. <x'D)

Ivy took an involuntary step towards Casta, then realised his focus was all on Blackice. 'Casta!' she called out, half-fearful at what he might do and half-relieved at seeing him alive.

Alfred stop and buy some more honey drops real quick from one of the Market people. He puts one in his mouth and smiled well walking.
He stopped "I think this might be it?" He said cheerfully
Teresa look at the Palace with wide eyes "WOW!"

(And since they're up in the mountains, maybe they can meet Sherry, Adrianne, and Xzar??
If that's ok with everyone. xP)

Erwen looks at the page with interest. "There are many terrible books, what's so important about this?" He sits and looks at Mac. "Since you seem adament about sleeping we can discuss this instead."

After flying far away, the two draugrs drop Maldius in the snow, landing beside the purple dragon. One of the two dragons begins circling around the captive while the other starts searching through a bag. "This is the third time, Maldius! You've been poisoned //three times now!//" the first draugr speaks, "Not only that, but you allowed yourself to be captured and held prisoner in your own fortress! You are a disgrace to your own name!" The second draugr pulls out an object with a sharp needle fixed on the end, full of an unusual concoction, and then proceeds to stab Maldius in the shoulder with it. The first draugr continues, "If you keep making a fool of yourself, you'll be nothing more than the joke of Aquilam!"

Maldius growls furiously, wincing slightly as the draugr stabs him, the pain being strangely familiar to him. "How dare you insult me like this!" he roars, glaring at the first draugr.

"I don't see any other 'really big palace-y buildings' so, this is most likely it." Nitika joked, looking up at the enormous palace.

Blackice look at Ivy and then to Casta "kill her"

( @Fluffy Hmm... actually, it might interfere with some plots @Shadow and I have if there's too many dragons up there with Sherry and Adrianne. Not trying to be rude or anything though XP )

Mac looked back down at the page. "Well I've already mentioned it before, but this object's creator is not listed. It would say unknown if they didn't know who it was. The title and description has been scribbled out by another pen, I can tell. And it's description is by far the longest one out of all of the other objects. Each one was created for one specific task. Such as 'kill anyone who eats from this bowl' or 'poison anyone who looks at their reflection in this mirror' But this book seemed like it was made for multiple things, like a handbook of some sort..."

Scratch jumped towards Casta. "DONT LAY A PAW ON HIM!!!!"

(Maldius: @Fading *starts chasing you, trying to kill you with much fury*)

(I wish I could throw in another OC to get more involved with the plot, but with a busy school year coming up, I doubt I'll be able to stay long every week. I might even have to drop out of an RP or two.)

Ivy, recognising Scratch, instantly leapt at the wingless dragon and pulled him away from Casta. 'Don't you dare touch him!' she hissed, digging her claws into his back. 'Casta, fight it! You don't have to do anything he says!'

@Kole should we have them go elsewhere then? I'd like them to meet up with other characters and get deeper into the plot. x)

"Yeah, let's go see the snow!" Sherry exclaims, humming her little tune once again.

(Turtle: I was late too, let's just roll with it. XD)

Alfred look at Nikita and then to Teresa //I'm going to die!// he smiled at them as he when in He look around "hello! Anyone home we're looking for a library or even a scholar?"said Cheerfully.

(To Maldius: Like I said, don't thank me too much. I won't accept hugs, but I'm sure your dazzling significant other will! *slyly retreats*)

Erwen sat in thought. "Why would you think this book would affect Maldius, I mean besides the fact that it looks dangerous." He looked around the room again, getting uncomfortable with the surrounding mess.

(I don't exactly know where to have them go, though.
I'll just start and see what happens. xD)

Wyvrick looked down at Solaris from the mountaintops. With a shiver, he felt the cold seeping through his scales. He hated the cold, but always thought that with practice, he could overcome his weakness... Honestly, he just wanted to go somewhere warmer.

Blackice " I SAID KILL HER PET!" he roared

( @Lilly: If Xzar joining them meddles with you and @Shadow's plans, just say so! I don't want to be an interference. ;)

"It would affect him because it's cursed and powerful, like every single object in here." Mac paused for a second to think. "Most cursed objects cause their holders to go crazy, from my understanding. Maybe Maldius obtained this book or another greatly cursed object, and that's his reasoning for being insane?But that's just my theory."

(Ivy to Fade: ARGH! STOP SHIPPING ME WITH THAT FOOL! *throws up*)

Adrianne smiled "ok Hold On Sunshine!" She read her wings and takes flight she looks back at the city // be safe Al....// and head to the mountains

After appreciating the architecture, Nitika stood next to Alfred. Her nerves made her feel like she wanted to run away, but she forced herself to stay.

Wyvrick sheepishly looked up at Tiluna, "Y-yes, that sounds n-nice."
He tried to keep his jaw from trembling, but he'd been in the cold for so long that it was rather hopeless.

(To Ivy: Interesting. I've never seen a puddle of vomit puke before. You two sure got serious quick, huh?)

The draugr's jaw gruesomely unhinges, and then it begins speaking with a voice that is not its own. "You would dare speak to your //Master// this way!?"

Recognizing the voice, Maldius' eyes widen as a shiver rushes down his spine. "... Master Fayveer...?!" he breathes, his voice almost a fearful whisper.

The draugr's jaw snaps back into place, its voice reverting back to its own. "I am not he, though he is the one who sent me. If you keep foiling your own objectives, the Master himself may be the one to end you. You were manufactured to destroy armies single-handedly, get your act together and show the world the true meaning of terror." After the first finishes speaking, both draugrs collapse and disintegrate into nothing more than an ash pile.

Maldius lies there a moment, still wrapped in chains, considering the chilling message he heard. Feeling his strength return to him, the dark dragon uses telekinesis to break the shackles holding him, and then turns back to his fortress.

(Ah god I love this RP <3 )

Noxaura sighed and dug her claws into her wounded arm. Quickly, while the draugrs seemed to not be focusing on her, she wrote a new message in blood and then set it on fire, sending it off. //I shouldn't have used that magic...but I can't help it.//

( @Fade Oh no, Xzar is part of the plan... ; ) )

(Ivy to Fade: *shrieks in rage, falls over and drowns in her own vomit*)

Wyvrick unfurled his wings, exposing the thin membrane to the cold. He shivered once more before taking off and soaring after Tiluna.
Relief filled his mind when he felt the warmer air as they flew down the mountainside.

(Wait Adrianne, we need Xzar! X'D )

Blackice eyes flared with range "how dare you!! Talk back to me!! your just like her!! Your nothing more than a failed experiment!! And just like her you need to be put down!!" Finally breaks his bonds and lunges at Casta in rage

Ivy's eyes widened as she saw Casta and Blackice attack each other. With a grunt of effort, she leapt over and snapped viciously at Blackice, wanting to help her friend - no matter what he'd become.

Wyvrick slowed himself by beating his wings as he neared the grassy clearing.
He hit the ground with a loud 'thud' and stumbled a small bit because of his overly-fast landing.
He grunted in frustration, flapping his wings to regain balance.

Erwen nods. "Maybe, I suppose it's our best bet for now. Until future evidence appears." He looks at Mac carefully. "I really think you should get some sleep."

Alfred walking "if I was a Library where would I be" he was in deep thought "OH I KNOW!!" he grabbed Nikita with excitement "it would be the quietest place in the palace!!"
Teresa look puzzled "what you mean?"
Alfred let go of Nikita and look at Teresa and smiled with pride "you have to be quiet in a library!"
Teresa tilted her head curiously like "how is that supposed to help?"
Alfred "with these!" he points to his ears
Teresa seemed even more confused
Alfred closed his eyes and switched his ears listening face wiggle back and forth like sonar dishes
Alfred haha!! "It must be this way!"
He takes off running until he makes it to the library "told you so!" He beamed with pride

(Alfred... oh my goodness. XD)

Mac looked down at his feet. "I- I can't" He said quietly.
Scratch, outraged, shot forward to reluctantly assist Blackice. No matter how much he hated him, he wasn't allowed to die.

Adrianne find that's why I have you lead the way)

(If any dragon, Sherry will need to be the one to point Xzar out, He isn't the type to follow after every pair of flying dragons he sees, and I doubt Adrianne would find interest in him.)

Wyvrick snorted, finally getting his balance.
"...Yes." He admitted, feeling ashamed, "I was a little excited to get out of the cold."

Nitika jumped when Alfred suddenly grabbed her.
Then watched in shock when he took off running. "Geeze." She calmed herself before following him.
When they came to the library, Nitika looked impressed, "Nice job, Alfred." She chuckled, before peeking into the library.

Blackice roared in pain at his attackers black blood came from the wound Casta made he tried to shake Ivy off him his eyes darken as black liquid start dripping from his mouth "MEAT!"

Erwen sighed and looked at Macgyver in the eyes. "I can see the exhaustion. I may not be healer but I can tell what you're doing is unhealthy." He gets distracted by the faint sound of crackling fire nearby.

Ivy clung on grimly to Blackice's back, tearing at him anywhere she could reach. Seeing Scratch approaching, she yelled, 'Look out, Casta!' and breathed a short jet of flame in the red dragon's direction.

As Maldius marches back to his domain, another draugr stops him. It holds out a paw, and within its palm is a small, insignificant earring. "What's this?" Maldius asks, eyeing the draugr suspiciously.

"Make your servant of darkness wear this... you'll find it will make his mood more... favorable," it replies, tossing the earring to the dark dragon before flying toward the fortress.

Maldius catches the accessory with his telekinesis. //Such mysterious happenings today...// he ponders, then continues on to his fortress.

(I almost forgot that part... lol.)

(That what I was fist think to @fade I thought they would just find him in the mountains XD I'm so confused what I'm supposed to do with her now )

Sherry then spots an unusually dull dragon and points to him. "Ooh, Adrianne can we go talk to him first? He's a big dragon like you are and I think big dragons are neat!"

( @Shadow: Yeah, I ought to just send Maelstrom back into the mountains. I just need a reason for him to do so. xP)

Scratch hissed and ducked to avoid the fire, but it still seared down his back. With a shout of pain, he barreled to Casta and Ivy, nocking them out of Blackice's range. But instead of attacking them again, he glared at Blackice, his knives out and ready. "Stop. This. Now."

Mac was about to respond when he heard the noise too. "OH- I didn't set something on fire, did I?" He frantically looked around. "It's not me."

Ivy swiftly put her paw over Casta's to stop him leaping into the fight again. 'Listen!' she hissed in his ear. 'We have to escape.'

Erwen tilted his head to try an locate the source. He felt heat behind him and turned to see the the silver flames flickering out, leaving a bloody piece of paper behind.

As Xzar continued to pace around Solaris, his interaction with the mysterious crow-dragon kept coming back to mind. //It's just too risky, recruiting dragons into my rebellion. I can't guarantee that they'll stay loyal and keep their jaws shut. I mustn't let anybody learn of my movements.// He spread his wings and, with a mighty flap, he took to the air and allowed the winds to guide him back towards his home. //I suppose, in the end, I must work through my robotic army. I have tens of hundreds of them stashed away, and every one of them are completely submissive to my commands.//

Nanashi " look out for that thing's mouth!" Blackice thrashed violently trying to get Ivy off his back, as he claw at Casta before Scratch knock them off him. he shook his head violently and look at Scratch he look at the others and back to Scratch he panting but liquid was coming from his mouth

Wyvrick stepped next to Tiluna and glanced around the open clearing. "This would be a nice spot to practice magic..."

(Agh, sorry @Lilly! Un, should I delete that?)

Reaching his domain, Maldius silently enters, hearing the chaos inside. He makes himself invisible, and walks to the center of the room where all the other dragons are, sitting amongst them as if he weren't even there.

( @Fade Haha, I guess we're all a mess today XD It's fine, I suppose Adrianne and Sherry could just follow him XP )

Ivy glanced up at Scratch and Blackice, then quickly turned back to Casta. 'Can you get on my back so we can fly out of here?' she said.

Alfred looking around the library "WOW!" He looks that the girls" I guess either look for a book on Ancient Aquilam languages and Ruins or see if there's a scholar somewhere"
Teresa "ok sounds good! "
Alfred Shhhhh! " this is a library you're supposed to whisper" he said in a whisper that was a lot louder than a whisper

Scratch stared down at him. "Stop! We don't need anymore of your stupid monsters!" He slowly backed away from him, quite afraid.

Mac looked at Erwen. "Er- what is it?"

( @Lilly: Haha, sorry again. 'XD Would it be more convinient if he dropped the disguise?)

Ivy guessed what he was thinking about. Her eyes roved up and down his form, her mind whirring with thoughts. 'Nanashi!' she shouted, searching the room for the white dragon. 'Can you help us?'

( @Fade It's fine, he can keep the disguise :p

Sherry: Oh no! The strangely dull and boring dragon is getting away! But I must say hi to every non-NPC OC I meet!! Hurry, Adrianne, after him! D: )

Wyvrick swished his tail back and forth in anticipation, as if he expected some monster to burst from the field of grass and attack them. His bright blue eyes darted around the clearing.

"Your whisper could use a little work, Alfred." Nitika teased before walking further into the library. "Ancient languages and runes..." She repeated quietly as she began searching the shelves.

Erwen picked up the slightly burned paper and read the sloppy handwriting. After he finished he crumpled it in his hand and turned to Mac. "Nothing important. I highly suggest you get sleep."

(Hey @Kole, did you know that Artifact is up?)

Blackice look around the room at the group with his dark eyes "....meat...you...are...all...meat..." he said while panting he charge to at Casta and Ivy Nanashi sent ice wall to block him as he slammed into it it started to crack. Nanashi growled "we don't have much time! " he grabbed one of Casta arms " quick grabbed the other one! We both can probably lift him!"

(Lovely timing. XD)

Mac gave him a suspicious look, but nodded. "Sure- Yes- I'll go do that."
Scratch let out an outraged cry when he saw the prisoners escaping. "NO! BLACKICE HELP ME!"

Ivy didn't hesitate for a second. She grabbed Casta from the other side and spread her wings, ready for takeoff. 'C'mon! We're getting out of here!'

Adrianne fly to the mountains (following the  strangely dull and boring dragon?)

Nanashi look at Ivy "how much can you stand the cold!?" He said with a serious tone

Suddenly, Nanashi's ice wall explodes into millions of pieces as the dark figure of Maldius becomes visible for all to see, the dragon grinning wickedly. "No one's going anywhere," he states, before slamming the three dragons to the ground with telekinesis, and throwing BlackIce into the wall with the same power.

Erwen nodded briskly and stood to leave. He struggled to keep his emotionless guise on. //She's alive, she's okay.//

Noxaura applied pressure to the new wounds, trying to slow the bleeding. But her exhaustion was getting the best of her and she slumped over, sleep finally taking hold.

Ivy looked back at him, trying to figure out what he was planning. 'I can stand it well enough!' she replied. 'Whatever you're going to do, hurry and do it!'

Alfred "let's see here, there's a book how to fish, a book on the strangest things ever pulled out of your nose.... that sounds like a good read!.... Puff the Magic Dragon.., now that's a silly name Puff!" He chuckled "oh that's one for plan's! Nikita would probably like this one!"

Sherry looks down at the landscape, thrilled. "Oh wow, snow is so pretty!" Beginning to shiver from the cold, Sherry pulls a blanket out of her bag and wraps herself up in it. "Brrr! It really is cold up here! It's no wonder Aquilam dragons are so grumpy without a blanket! Hey Adrianne, do you think that big dragon came up here?"

Adrianne look at Sherry " it's a possibility I don't see why you have such an interest in him" she snorted and was looking at her surroundings

(OK, I'll just say she's unconscious so she won't interfere with anything you guys choose to do. Though I'm kinda annoyed I haven't been able to get her out of the fortress yet. I've been trying to for like the last 4 RPs. :/)

Mac looked back at his window. "Sleep?!?!? I'm not going to-" He was cut off as he slumped to the floor, fast asleep.

Scratch watched the situation in front of him unfold. He hid behind the shattered ice wall.

As if in reply to Sherry's question, pale red scales flashed beneath the two dragons, standing out against the white snow. Xzar, ignorant of their presence, steadily beat his wings as he was carried over the terrain by the currents, mind fixed on his future plans for the rebellion.

( @Radiant If you want to get her out that badly, I'm sure we can think of something we can do for her.)

Wyvrick began to walk further into the field as if he were stalking something. "I wish there were something I could practice my shields against."
He suddenly stopped and stuck his snout into the grass, almost instantly pulling back with a little animal on his nose.
It clawed at him and growled.
"AH."
He shook his head, sending the creature flying back into the grass. "That's not what I meant." He huffed angrily.

Nitika parted a few books on a bottom shelf and peered to the back of the bookcase. "Oh, here!" She tried to keep her voice down, but her excitement had gotten the best of her.
"'Runes of the Ancients!' That sounds right."
She hauled a large, dusty book from the bookcase.

(Anyway, I'm going for tonight. See you guys.)

Erwen paused and glanced at Macgyver in amuesment before leaving the room. He closed the door behind him and headed down the hall.

"Oh! Look, there he is!" Sherry smiles and calls out to the dragon below. "Haaallloooooo!!" she exclaims, waving to Xzar.

Alfred ears perked up he heard Nikita voice in the quiet room he walks over "Ooooo did you find something? " he had a goofy smile

Xzar nearly jolted out of his hide when yet another voice called out to him. //Not again..!// he groaned inwardly. As there were no crowds of dragons around, he found it safe to not reply to the stranger and instead picked up his speed, gaze flicking over his shoulder.

Adrianne flinched looking around //not so loud you might cause an avalanche!// she look up at the  strangely dull and boring dragon
//why did she pick this boring dragon to annoy?//

Maldius grins down at his prisoners, taking slow steps toward them. "None can forsee disaster. In darkness, it comes; among despair, it departs. Now is such a time, that all may struggle, but in the end..." The dark dragon, reaching Nanashi, lowers his head to look directly into his icy blue eyes. "... Perish." Then turning away from the ice dragon, Maldius casts his gaze to his favorite servant. "Why are you hiding, Scratch? Are you that fearful of your Master?"

Wyvrick looked back at Tiluna, noticing how careful she was being as to not disturb the enviroment. He slowed his pace, feeling as though he should follow his teacher's ways.

"Yes, I think I may have found what we're looking for..." Nitika whispered over the sound of her flipping the pages.
"...Of course, I don't recognize any of these..." She glanced over the runes as she looked through the book. "Can you use this to decipher what's on that paper of yours?"

Scratch slowly peeks over from the ice. He slowly drags himself into view. "I failed you.... They took the girl." There were deep gashes along his side and a deep stab wound on his arm. He avoided looking into Maldius' eyes.

Seeing Xzar speed up, Sherry's ears droop. "Awwww, why are you flying awaaayyyy?? I just wanted to say hi and see if you wanted a blanket..."

Alfred look at the book and smiled "I should be able to now that a have a Foundation to go on... here I'll trade you " he smiled big he hand her a book on plants or plans (;) )

(Just dropping in for a second!

Lilly: It's OK, I'll figure something out with her eventually. I just kinda feel like I'm not doing anything important anymore. I mean, Ivy is imprisoned and has pretty much no chance of escaping because she won't leave without Casta. And Crowley isn't really involved in anything. Everyone else has these awesome plots going on and I'm kind of just... standing here. XD

Anyway, I've really got to go now, I'll catch up on this RP tomorrow. See you all. X))

Nanashi narrowed his eyes at Maldius he knew for the moment he was trap by his telekinesis but he was still thinking
Blackice sat up panting and shock his head his eyes were Yellow again

The malice in Maldius' eyes seems to fade, and for a moment--a brief moment--Maldius examines Scratch with a look of true concern, but then his eyes are filled with anger. "The Necromancer and his minions... they did this to you, didn't they!?"

Guilt dripped on Xzar's conscious as he listened to the golden dragon's wails. After exhaling an exasperated sigh, he slowed to a stop and turned to face the two strangers, wings beating to keep him aloft.

( @Radiant Alright, I'm just glad you aren't upset at me... 'XD Actually, I do have an idea as to how Ivy can escape, I'll put it in the Dragon Society Chat when I've the time. :p )

Scratch nodded. "Yes. That Necromancer and his dumb undead corpses... They acted like I was a fool... Taking my own weapon and using it against me...."

Once Erwen left, Macgyver began to shudder in his sleep. "N-no..."

(Malice 'the intention or desire to do evil; ill will.' Is the perfect description of me that is why it was given...)

Sherry's ears perk up once again. "Hiiyyyaaa mister! My name's Sherry and I'm from Chrysos and-can we get on the ground? It'd probably be easier to talk that way." She leans over Adrianne's shoulder to look down at the snowy ground.

"Must I go out of my way...?" Xzar mumbled under his breath. However, he complied to her request and began to spiral downwards in hopes that obedience would end the matter sooner.

Nitika accepted the book from Alfred, "Ooh... Thanks!"
She briefly opened it and began reading before looking up, wondering where Teresa was.

Maldius growls, suddenly feeling vengeful as he turns away. "How dare they! Arrrgh, I won't allow them to get away with this!! NO ONE injures my friend and just GETS AWAY WITH IT!!" he shouts, but then his wrath fades, followed by utter confusion. "... What did I just say...?" the purple dragon asks himself before turning to Scratch with a bewildered look.

(Maldius: Buuut, it's also fitting for other beings, such as myself. Just because your name is Malice, doesn't mean no one else can have malice in their hearts. If they still have a heart.)

(At least you guys don't have a username with rather commonly used words such as "glory" and "fade"... 'XD)

Noxaura jolted awake. She glanced over to the three draugrs that still blocked the exit and any means of leaving. She growled in annoyance and slamed her paws onto the stone floor. Vines and roots broke through the ground and wrapped around the draugrs, pulling them to the ground. Quickly, Noxaura stumbled to her feet and leapt over the struggling undead creatures.

( @Lilly: Ahh, me too. XD)

Scratch looked at him too, just as confused. "Y-you called me your friend, Sir..."

Alfred he sat down took the book form Nikita and he pull out his book from his bag. He lay his note down and he open the library book and he started to quickly read his expression was serious as he was flipping through the pages he would write down a word or two in his note book his eyes move quickly along the words he was halfway through the book "Mmmm I don't like we're this is going..." he whispered to Nikita

(Malice black eyes...I have no heart...)

Nitika closed her book, "...What does it say so far?" She gave him a concerned look.

"... Nonsense! You must've heard me wrong," Maldius says, dismissing the thought. "Anyway, go get your wounds cleaned up, Scratch." The dark dragon walks over to his throne and sits there, sorely displeased with the damage that has been brought upon his great demesne. "BlackIce! How are you feeling?"

Adrianne stands in silence

Sherry hops off Adrianne's back and bounces up to Xzar. "Hiiii! My name's Sherry, what's your name?"

Xzar's tail swept behind him as he landed gracefully on the snow, sending the white powder into the crisp air. "So?" he said to Sherry, making little attempt to hide his impatience. "What do you want with me?"

Nitika's pupils slit when she heard the name Maldius.
"...I've heard that name before... I don't know much about him though... But obviously this is bad." She began whispering so Teresa couldn't hear.
"Do you think Teresa's father is in danger? What kind of buisness would he have with Maldius?"
Her eyes were filled with worry.

Nox hardly looks back at the creatures trying to fight agaisnt her magic and takes to the air. //I don't care what I promised, I shall not stay in that hole.// She flies fast and soon her magic loses it's hold on the draugrs, allowing them to break free.

Erwen continued down the halls until he reached the entrance of the palace once again.

(Dreamweaver: I still think Malice is a super dramatic emo chicken.)

Xzar took a hesitant step backwards, unnerved by how obnoxiously cheerful the golden dragon was. "I... am Xzar," he slowly replied. His eyes narrowed as he fixed them on the larger dragon behind Sherry. //She looks troublesome.//

"Xzar! Wow, that's a cool name!" Sherry hops up and down in front of the giant red dragon. "You're from Aquilam, right? Do you live up here in the pretty snowy mountains? Oh I bet you get really cold up here! Would you like a blanket, Mister Xzar?" The little dragonet quickly reaches into her little bag and pulls out a bright yellow and orange blanket. "I made it myself! Would you like it?"

Mac woke up with a start. He looked around, his heart racing. "He is gone. He is gone." He told himself. Although it was just an hour of sleep, Mac felt quite rested.

Alfred laid his ears flat "I'm not sure ...that Crowley guy said something about him to, and I was hearing his name whispered in the streets on the way here..." he was thinking "I think he attack her recently...by what I'm guessing" he look around to see if anyone was around "if he is in danger I think we might need help...if he went there looking for Maldius...I don't think it was for any good reason..."

Since he could not even feel the cold, Xzar began to say, "Er, I don't need it," but he trailed off when he realized how ridiculous it would sound. His illusion disguise was quite obviously recognizable as a fire dragon due to its red scales and the heat waves that rose from his flanks. Plus, even he knew better than to reject such an innocent dragonette's amicable offer. Reluctantly, Xzar extended a talon to accept the blanket.

(Malice with cold eyes Know this Dreamer I can crush your light when ever I wish it.)

Sherry's smile widens as Xzar takes the blanket. "Do you like it, Mister Xzar?"

Nitika nodded, "But who do we ask for help?... And how do we know where Maldius is?..."
She tapped her metal claws together nervously as she thought.

(Malice to Eira : move fingers through hair with frustration / / I don't need your thank you... besides you're already told me twice...//)

(Dreamweaver: [to Malice] Oh yeah? Come get me then, you overgrown sparrow! *runs away hurriedly*)

Noxaura was flying as fast as her torn wings would allow. She was already passing over the border in a few minutes time. Nox looked over her shoulder and saw no pursuers on the ground or in the air.

"Er... yes," Xzar replied slowly, illustrating his content by stroking the orange fabric, although the metallic claws beneath his disguise could not actually feel it. "So... why did you approach me?" he queried awkwardly, not wanting to be too rude. His eyes flickered to the mountains.

(Malice to Dreamweaver "run as much as you can...it makes the hunt more fun....for me")

Mac looked back out his window again, watching the rising sun.

Sherry squeaks with delight. "I'm so happy you like it! And I just thought you looked interesting, because most of the Aquilam dragons I've seen have been pretty colors! And you were different, so I wanted to talk to you! And you're really big, I bet you're as tough as Adrianne!" Sherry exclaims, puffing her chest out and placing her paws on her hips as if to show how tough she is.

(Eira to Malice: Oh... did I already? *reddens* Q-Q)

Xzar blinked down at Sherry, unsure of how to react to the little bundle of joy. Finally, he cleared his throat and ruffled his wings. "Well, I'm sure you two are very busy on your... travels, so I should get going," he rumbled, turning around slightly as if to take flight.

(Ooh, looks like a certain Venatavis is jealous of the special attention Eira is getting...)

Alfred was in deep thought "I'm not sure... he a Aquilam dragon, but if he that powerful I'm sure he will go after Chrysos to. //I should send word back to my family about this...// he look at her "I think I can track him... or at least see where the map of the runes go to"

Scratch finished cleaning up his wounds. He stared down at his reflection in his knife.

Maldius silently sits on his throne, before remembering the earring he had received from the draugr. "Oh yes... BlackIce, you had wanted a favor from me, hadn't you?"

"O-okay..." Nitika obviously felt unsure about the situation.
Thinking about some big evil dragon made her nervous, but she had come this far to help Teresa, and she wasn't going to give up.
"Alright." She said firmly, her voice booming with newfound confidence. "We need to hurry, we don't exactly know how much time we have left if BlackIce is really in danger..."

(Man @Turtlee now I'm curious on what it said!)

Sherry hops along beside Xzar, still beaming up at him. "Oh no, we're not busy at all! Are you, though?"

Erwen left the palace and quickly flew to the outskirts of Solaris. There he kept his position as he waited for the small figure he could see in the distance.

Noxaura could see the sun reflecting on Erwen's white feathers. She altered her direction so she'd meet up with him.

Blackice walk over sheepish like his wounds from the battle still bleeding "y..yes master.. I was wondering if you can do something about my daughter...and my wife.. great powerful ruler.."

Xzar swallowed back an exasperated grunt as he eyed Sherry through the corner of his eye. She obviously had no intention of giving up on him so soon. "Perhaps..." Suddenly anxious that the yellow dragon would ask about what he was doing, Xzar corrected himself: "Not really..." He realized only after that he had made a huge mistake, and he held his breath.

Alfred was unsure of the situation "
her Father was acting strange on the boat, I want sure why..." he look down at the name he wrote down it was Maldius "but I'm sure it's was because of him" he put the book back in its place in the Shelf and put his book away "ok we should go " he looks around where Teresa at?"

A faint grin comes across the dark dragon's maw. "Well now, as a reward for all the hard work you have done in my service, I would like to present you with a gift... step forward, BlackIce."

Nitika's eyes widened, "I thought she was searching the library with us."
She searched around the library, calling her name in a loud whisper. "Teresa, are you here?"

Sherry giggles and suddenly hugs Xzar's arm. "You're funny, mister Xzar! I like you! Hey, would you like to come exploring with me and Adrianne?"

(I'll just watch for now, I have no interactions atm)

(Maldius: I have so much pity for you, Maelstrom... why didn't you run when you had the chance?!)

The Xzar illusion over Maelstrom hid the cringing look on his face. His raised the foreleg that Sherry had seized with the intention of shaking her off, but remembering the stoic Chrysos dragon watching them, he slowly set it back down. "I... suppose I can accompany you, for a little bit," he forced out.

Blackice he was in a submissive cowardly way something told him to run inside but he slowly move forward "y--yes master? "

(Maelstrom to Maldius: And why didn't you just run away when the draugrs attacked you, oh-so-pitiful damsel in distress?)

Noxaura finally reached Erwen. She motioned to the ground and they both landed. "I must say Erwen, you look more stressed since the last time we spoke face to face."

Erwen narrowed his eyes. He took note of how thin and beaten up Nox looked. "It's been a stressful few days. I hope leaving was worth it."

Maldius holds out his paw, revealing the tiniest earring, smaller than even his purple scales. It looks simple, just a silver ring with no gemstones. "Here, take it. I'm certain it can grant you all the desires of your heart..."

Alfred "I thought so to!" He said in a really loud whisper He was looking around calling Teresa's name in a loud whisper. He step in something wet he look down and to his horror there was blood oon the foor "Nikita! " He shouted

(Right now, Xzar sounds like me when I have to look after little kids. It's like reading part of my life.)

"Yay!" Sherry exclaims, letting go of the large dragon's arm and spinning around with glee before beaming up at him. "I've made so many new friends since we've come to Aquilam! I'm so happy!"

(Maldius: [to Maelstrom] Because draugrs aren't near as terrifying as that... //thing// beside you! Be careful, she will steal your sooouuuuullll!!)

Nitika hurried back to Alfred when she heard his shout, but suddenly stopped when she felt liquid under her paws. She looked down at her feet to see blood in a trail on the floor.
She gasped, stepping back, "...Oh my..." she felt a little bit sick. "A-Alfred, we need to find her NOW."

Xzar squinted down his snout at Sherry, nearly blinded by the non-existent beams of light which radiated from her. //What have I gotten into...?// he groaned inwardly.

(Maelstrom to Maldius: No need to remind me... -_-,)

Sherry turns back to Adrianne, gesturing for her to come over, and then she looks back up to Xzar. "Hey, Mister Xzar! Do you know of any cool places to explore in the mountains?"

Alfred nodded his head "come on!" He followed her tracks back to the entrance he look around not seen the blood anymore "she must of flew from here!" he quickly took off his bag and pulled out his book he tore a page out of it and dip his claw in the last blood track and start writing on his paper with her blood

Noxaura grinned. "It was worth it, I learned a lot, especially about myself." She tries to stay still as she stands so no extra movement opens more wounds.

Erwen sighed. "You need help, you're hurt. Let's go to the infirmary and I'll keep you out of my father's sights." He pauses. "And I'm sure there's some dragons you should speak to."

"I... What could've happened...
I hope she's ok..." Nitika continued mumbling, being both horrified and worried about her friend. She took a deep breath, and tried to relax.

Xzar paused, considering telling about Sherry and Adrianne about the endless cave networks hidden beneath the mountains. He knew them like the back of his talon - he could easily lead them in, lose them, and fly back out, and they would never bother him again. However, the chance that they would find the robot-filled cavern was not with risking, so he gave a small shake of his head.

(My 3ds is about to die. >.<
I'll be back when I get home, which probably won't be too long!)

"Aww, ok! I'm sure we'll find something else that's really cool!" Sherry pauses a moment, then her ears suddenly perk up moreso than before. "Oh! I just remembered! Mister Ardens told me about how he found a really pretty gem in a ravine... which I think is underground! Mister Xzar, do you know of any place that's underground that has a lot of pretty gems?"

He was thinking "...maybe it's something to do with her split personality, but I'm just guessing " he finished writing his Runes and folded the paper it look like a origami bird he look at Nikita "it's a tracking spell!" He through it in the air and it starts to fly in a Direction "come on!" He raised after it

For some reason, Mac couldn't fall back asleep. He blinked at his trashed room, before getting up. He collected the scattered papers and stuffed them in the book before hiding it behind a very large encyclopedia. He swept up the glass, only managing to cut himself twice. Mac tidied up his desk and stood back to admire his work.

Xzar cringed. //The heavens are working against me...// "Of course I do not," he replied with false ignorance. "I doubt you'll ever find any ravines here."

"Well, that's too bad. Oh well!" The little dragonet sits down in the snow, playing with it in her paws. "Snow is really neat! It's like sand only cold and wet! Oh! Mister Xzar, have you ever been to Chrysos?" Sherry asks, beaming up at the big red dragon again.

Blackice look at the earing and look at Maldius "all my desires of my heart?...My daughter will be normal?...I can see my Wife again?...the monster will be died?!" He took the earing and put it on he gasp as something over took him his mind become a blank, his eye had a glaze over them his body relaxed from the tension

Noxaura was getting too tired to object, she was barely standing on her feet now and her companion had noticed. "Very well, fine as long as you stop badgering me." She flies into the air again with Erwen close behind.
They both traveled above Solaris together. Directing themselves towards a more discrete entrance of the palace.

Maldius watches his servant with great interest. "... Now, BlackIce, what is your greatest desire?" the dark dragon asks, raising an eyebrow.

Scratch snorted. "Probably to not be a deranged weirdo" He muttered.

Blackice look at Maldius with his glazed over eyes " my desire is to serve you master..." his tone was Hollow

Nitika continued following the origami bird as quickly as she could go.
She thought she spotted a figure flying far in the distance, "I hope that's her!" She gasped.

Maldius grins, then laughs darkly. "Good... good! Now, your first, and most important commands... //Never allow anyone to remove the earring...// And you shall never, ever disobey me, understand?"

Alfred continued to follow his tracking spell. he would use his wings occasionally to try and keep up with Nikita though the crowds they finally made it out of the city Alfred look around and seen more blood on the floor "she can't be to far!" He ran into the forest again following his spell

Nitika briefly glanced back to be sure that Alfred was with her.
She sped into the forest after Alfred's tracking spell, panting.

Scratch watched the two, occasionally muttering something silently under his breath.

Erwen pulled ahead and lead Noxaura to a more hidden entrance. They both landed and walked inside. "You'll be coming with me to examine those wounds on you."
Noxaura rolls her eyes and follows Erwen down the halls. Every step she took, Nox looked around for guards or any sign of the king.

Alfred look up and seen her to " there she is!"
Gemini's Wings gave out as she started to fall.

Alfred "TERESA! " he bolted for her taking off with his wings he grabbed her just in time before she hit the ground, he cupped his wings around her and crashed

Gemini has filled with horror seen Alfred "No!no!no!" She gets off him and start back away " You have to stay away from me! " blood was still dripping from her

Blackice look at Maldius with his glazed over eyes " yes master...as you command"

Nitika arrived near Alfred and Gemini, but suddenly stopped when she heard her say that they needed to stay away.
"What, why?" Nitika cried, looking concerned.

"Good... Now, I am going to leave for a while." Maldius rises from his broken throne, spreading his mighty wings out and stretching them. "BlackIce, take our prisoners to their cells, then look after Scratch while I am gone."

Scratch glared at Blackice, before looking up at Maldius. "Be safe" He grunted.

Mac still stared out his window, hypnotized by the beauty outside.

(Maldius: Oooh, I know what I should do.

I should turn invisible, and get right in front of Mac's face...

Then become visible again and go "RAAAAAAAAAAWWWRRRRRRR!!!")

Gemini her scales started to turn dark as she back away from them "I--I don't want to hurt you!" Baird her teeth and pain

Gemini She backs into a tree and it start to die. She put out her hand "y--you just need to stay away! Please! "

Erwen looked around ahead of them and lead Noxaura into the infirmary. Luckily for them it was empty. "What things do you need to fix...all that." Erwen motions to Nox's wounds.

Noxaura huffed, annoyed and pointed to the medicines and bandages. "It's not like you're building a robot here Erwen."

She looked terrified as Gemini's scales turned dark. //Dark magic...?// She thought. "...No matter what danger we might be in either."
She took off her satchel and instantly started digging through it. "Potions that can harmlessly subdue a dragon... I might have an extra... But would it work?" She said under her breath.

Maldius grins at Ice's obedience, the at Scratch's remark. "I shall try to control myself and prevent any deaths this time... I want you to get those wounds healed up, though. I'll be back." Without waiting for a reply, the dark dragon leaps into the air, flying straight through the opening in the ceiling, and makes himself invisible as he flies toward Aquilam's capital, Solaris. //It's been a while since I've seen that gullible lizard, Macgyver... I wonder how he's holding up with a missing leg.//

For the first time in over a week, Mac felt happy. There was nothing that could ruin the moment. Nothing.

After a long flight, what feels like hours, Maldius glides into Solaris. He gazes down at the citizens a moment, landing silently on the roof of a nearby building to observe them easier. //... So many of them... weak, pathetic things... all of them, like innocent sheep being led by a shepard... yet they do not realize how weak and powerless their shepard is. Slaughter is coming, the end drawing near, and I shall be the one to bring about the glorious destruction... Rest, and be merry while you can, O kingdom wrapped in lies, a day is coming when you will burn with my vengeance.// After a moment, the dark dragon takes off again, landing as close to the palace as he is able, then silently searching its entirety for Macgyver's room. //Now, where is that lizard?//

Mac still lay curled up against his pillows, not sleeping.

Erwen quickly gathered the materials and placed them all by Noxaura's paws. She nodded in thanks and began treating the gashes and burns that littered her arms, legs and sides.

Hearing Gemini's fear-filled voice, Nitika stopped digging through her satchel. She'd found a potion that could easily put a dragon to sleep, but she left it.
She approached Gemini, trying to keep herself calm for her sake.
"We're going to help you, don't worry."
She looked up at Alfred, as if asking him what they should do.

Eventually, Maldius finds a small, grey and yellow dragon in a room. //Now, it's time for a bit of fun...// he thinks, grinning to himself as he enters the room, using ice magic to seal the entrance, and using illusion magic to make an opaque wall-as if there were no room at all. Gradually, Maldius' Mystic element seeps into the ground, tainting the very stones and structure of the room, making everything take on a dark purple coloration. The window that Macgyver is so fondly gazing through is sealed as well, and Maldius' illusion magic dispells as he speaks.
"Hello there... Macgyver."

(Meant to say his invisibility dispells, not the magic on the doorway.)

(Woah, you guys are still going... XD I'm heading off to bed now, but I figured I'd stop by first. Epic stuff going on! I cannot wait for next week!)

Macgyver's heart plummeted as he reconized the sinister voice. He was to scared to move, his eyes looking around in a room he didn't reconize. "M-Maldius" His voice was a choked whisper

(Maldius: I heard you were having a good day.

The demonic dragon slowly steps forward, each loud footstep sending a rumble through the ground. "Tell me, how have you been since you tried to murder Noxaura and lost your leg?"

Noxaura quickly applied medicine to the wounds and wrapped them with clean bandages. "There are you happy my prince?" She bowed dramatically for emphasis.

Erwen faintly nodded in approval. "Yes, I'm sure you feel better. Now what happened while you were gone, what happened to the plan?!"

Mac tried to step backward, but he couldn't. He stared up at Maldius, his eyes wide with fear. "I- I didn't mean to- it- it was an accident...."

Maldius sighs, shaking his head with disappointment. "An 'accident,' you say? ... You still have feelings for her, don't you?" The dark dragon towers over Macgyver, looking down at him with dark, yellow eyes. "How tragic, really... that she shall be the one to destroy you."

Mac was shaking. The dark dragon, Maldius himself, was standing in front of him. "W-what are you talking about? N-Nox wouldn't do that..."

Noxaura tilted her head. "Plan? Which one, we've made many plans together." She picks up the supplies she was using and quickly begins sorting them in their appropriate places.
Erwen grew irritated. "The one told me about after you left, about destroying the books."

"Oh, she wouldn't, would she?" Maldius lowers his head to look directly into Macgyver's bright blue eyes, growling quietly. "Do you know what that dragon did? She came to me, alone, asking for the book on dark magic that I stole, and when I refused, she said //she// would slay Lennox before I do!"

Macgyver trips on his own tail. His head was spinning. "No- you're lying to me- that's- she wouldn't- she- she...."

Erwen gave her a look. "You wrote to me saying you could write a curse that would destroy the five dark magic books."

Noxaura stood there in confusion before a flash of recognition appears on her face. "A curse? That wouldn't destroy them, it'd only increase their defenses. Why would I suggest that to you?"

Maldius raises his head to look down on the frightened dragon again. "Oh, was I furious I heard her say that. After all, //I// want to be the one to dethrone the king..." A pillar of stone rises from the floor, and the dark dragon shapes it to resemble the spear he stabbed Noxaura with. Maldius grins down at the spear, toying with it in his paws. "I stabbed her, right in the shoulder... a hard, piercing blow... but you know, in the end, she asked to side with me, and I agreed. It's too bad, really... we would've made a fine team, if she hadn't been taken away..."

Mac's whole body was shaking, and his heart was beating. "What are you t-talking about? She-she- but she told me she was taking a break- not siding with the enemy.... I lost a leg for her- we all helped her fight you- and this is how she repays us?"

Maldius grins coldly down at Macgyver. "It's so heartbreaking, isn't it? When the person you love turns against you, after you've sacrificed so much for her!" The dark dragon suddenly drives the stone spear into the ground beside Macgyver, with force as if he just dealt the final blow to a dying dragon. "Such is the nature of all Aquilam's royalty. You have power, Macgyver, and they know it. They fear you. So, they order you around, where you may go, where you may not go, they make you think you are weak, gullible, naive, then turn against you and leave you alone! Noxaura does not care for you, you are just her puppet to manipulate!"

Erwen was the one confused now. "What? Wait do you remember anything from the past few days?" He looked over at her with a concerned look.

Nox shook her head. "I don't know, I've been told of some events but otherwise...I'm clueless." She frowns at Erwen. "Why, what happened when I was gone?"

Macgyver stumbled backwards, lost for words. Tears began to stream down his eyes as he stared at the floor, his paw balled in a fist. "She has been doing this to me- and I never stopped to think? I-I'm an idiot- I allowed this to happen..."
His emotions were unbalanced, and with such a weak heart that was easy to break. He looked up at Maldius, not even caring that this was the dragon he feared the most. "I trusted her. She was the only one I ever trusted..."

"Now, you see the same lesson I learned, so many years ago..." Maldius looks into Macgyver's eyes, pleased with the emotions he sees boiling within, then turns to the window... or, rather, where it used to be. Quickly realizing that he cannot look through the window if it is entirely sealed off, the dark dragon places a paw gently on the ice, causing it to turn almost clear. "How much do you know of me, Macgyver? What have they told you of me?"

Macgyver looked up at him. "T-they told me that you were a p-power hungry monster who only wanted to kill his own tribe" He said shakily.

(Just yo let y'all know I can't stay up past 2)

(Niether can I, mainly cause I'm tired)

The dark dragon king silently gazes out the window for a moment, watching the city's citizens. "... That's it? That's all they've told you? They haven't told you anything about my childhood life, or how it was King Lennox who ordered my creation to begin with?"

Mac stepped back nervously. "N-no... Not at all"

"... No, no... of course they wouldn't." Maldius sighs, turning his gaze away from the window. "Years ago, during a time of war, King Lennox ordered that certain eggs be used for magical experimentation... to create a dragon capable of single-handedly taking down opposing armies. My egg was one of those chosen, and I was taken away from my mother and father. I spent almost the entirety of my life underground, where I was trained to fight, trained to kill. Eventually, my father tried to rescue me from that horrid prison... but he was brutally murdered before my eyes." Maldius turns to gaze out the window once more, silent.

Mac looked astonished. He was speechless.

(Hate to say it, but I have to go! Is the convo over or do we need to continue on Saturday?)
