Amazing! :3 nice use of the 'weaving' technique! ^-^ And that sounds like lots of fun! :D I went on retreat half-way across the country this summer, and it was two days by bus, so we saw all sorts of things, cities, woodlands, bayous (there were so many whooping cranes in Louisiana, even though they're endangered), mountains (Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, and they looked pretty eerie at two or four in the morning) rivers, lakes...Yup, that's 'murica for you! CX
That sounds fun! There's so many more deciduous trees in the east. It's weird, since I'm used to the needles and cones that live in the west ahah. The drive through the Cascades in October is really nice, though, because it gets all misty and cool, and the non-conifers start getting orange.
Where I live, there are so many palm trees, one would easily mistake the place for California! XD And it doesn't help that it gets over one hundred degrees in summer. We have a scarce few deciduous trees, but none that are exceptionally tall. Which is why seeing virtually stark forest highways was a fun experience for me. ^-^ However, I literally had only slept a couple of hours the entire way over (due to noisy adolescents and me wanting to see everything). X'D So I actually eventually grew sick of them and at some point uttered something along the lines of,"All these darn trees!" XD
