I have considered myself a #Kemonomimi for a while as I always loved the idea of having a fox tail and ears, mostly to express myself with! Until recently I was terrified of #fursuiters and anything animatronic like (Automatonophobia) but after meeting a lovely #fox #furry at a con (I was a male humanoid foxy), some hugs and conversation started to help me get over my fear. I then started seeing a lot of furry 'cringe' video's but I didn't find it cringey besides the yiff (yeah, not into that). I became more fascinated by fursuiting and the community as a and spent a week deciding weather to make a #fursona. I eventually gathered enough references of the design I liked and produced Cannon, my fursona. I've never fursuited before but I have friends who do so I maybe able to try on pieces to get a feel for it.
PLEASE NOTE: The trace was to help with structure and to practice the new style.

With a lot of practice you can, I'm self taught and have been doing this for 9 years. I had help for this one in particular though from a base although it wasn't directly copied.
Your art is pretty good, I'd say that a little focus on your anatomy and some practice with blending colours would really help you out x
