This is really, really great! Colors, trees, everything. @otavio: maximum brightness, wearing a dark shirt and holding the DS in an angle to reflect it helped me a bit. But maybe Racuh had a better idea I missed so far?
I´ve seen a rough version of this painting on your website. Is this what you paintet from life and refined the rest later? (this is what I´ve done with some paintings).
Otavio: I sit in the shade! Hahha... simple as that. Sploch: I actually went back. I really like Griffith Park a lot. I thought I had good framing the first time but it needed some refining. As it turns out though I think that my first attempt on my blog looks a little more fun actually. Thanks for the comments!
Fantastic landscape illustration. I've had a couple difficult times sketching in daylight so I have to find a tree to duck under. LOL. This looks great!
I've seen her painting of the Observatory, well I saw it a while ago and it did end up being inspiration for going up there and doing little plein air paintings, especially since I live just a couple minutes away. I don't know her but think she is wickedly talented.
Don't know why the DRW file shows the little glitchy areas- black specks and whatnot- anyone know why this happens?

I don't understand how people paint nice pictures in the sun on their DS. Is there some trick to it?
