I wanna redraw this on Clip Studio Paint but I'm really tired right now. This is the reference sheet for my main oc Jaffa.
You may not use this as a base or steal this in any way, shape or form.
Art belongs to me.
I tried to follow the colors closely to the other ref I made a bit ago, and I also changed the bandanna to a bowtie

This is nice! Looks he's planning on attending a party :D
Re: I've been drawing for decades now (Gods I hate that I can say that with an 'S') and my OCD butt won't tollerate me not giving my best, even with a tiny screen to work with. Even with all that time to learn I can't quite grasp making something simple and cartoony. (My last picture like that took me at least four hours and that was mostly line work.
Sorry, ranting. What I'm trying to say is; Your work is awesome and you'll only get better from here! I'm glad to be able to watch!

Re: No, no, no. I haven't been on here for decades, that would mean that I'm much older than I actually am. Plus I HIGHLY doubt that colors has been around for at least two decades; I've just been drawing a little longer than twenty years.
I take great advantage over the zoom feature, it helps a lot when going over details like scails. Sharp, crisp lines are a hassle to draw though, it takes me forever. This is also not the first game where I had to deal with a small screen. i-Scribble is similar to this, and there is a drawing game on newgrounds that was a little more difficult than this to master.
In all honesty I've hardly been here more than a few months. I just have a bit of experince with difficult drawing programs; being on a brand New 3DS XL helps as well with the bigger screen.
I don't think realism is as hard as you think, it's expressions that really get to me. Cartoon expressions can be extra difficult and even more so when exaggeration is applied.
