Since Hiiro attacks anything that moves or speaks, this should be fun, but I'm patient. It's more fun when it happens suddenly

Hey @Shadow! I've been thinking about something for a while...
In Eira's backstory, she was attacked by a "creature of darkness" which partially corrupted her with dark magic, but I never decided on what the creature was. In case this information is ever necessary in the RP, do you have any suggestions as to what it can be?
A Nightmare is the first thing that comes to mind, since I recall that some of them are able to corrupt another creature. However, I don't know which Nightmare would have done it, and I'm afraid that this concept would mess up some of your plans for Soledormir's Keys, so I want to see what you think of it first. If Eira's attacker being a Nightmare meddles with the plot too much, do you know of another creature in the SKeys universe that could have done it?
