Had to draw from yet-to-be-posted material, but a moveset has been made!
Alan is a lightweight and relatively small fighter (canonically no bigger than 3 ft). Special moves rely on tools for the most part. Moveset description in comments.

Shuriken: Alan throws a shuriken. Three can be thrown in quick succession, with the third followed by a pause. (This is a carry-over from Alan's fascination with ninjas. Pretty much the only ninja tool he has any proficiency in.)
Spiral Slide: Alan does a spinning dive and then slides to attack. The dive is a multi-hit move, while the slide deals one hit (similar to Yoshi's egg roll). Caution should be exercised though, as this move can only be stopped after the slide starts. It is entirely possible to find yourself diving offstage if you're not careful. (This move was inspired by the fact that Alan is, in fact, a penguin.)

Grapple Gun: Alan fires a grapple gun at an upwards diagonal. This move can pull Alan towards the stage or an opponent. It can reach twice the length pictured. (This is a gadget made by Trent for Alan's use. Utilizes suction cup technology rather than hooks because Trent doesn't trust Alan with anything sharp.)
Electromagnet: Catches non-energy based projectiles. If used while holding a projectile, the projectile will be propelled forward to inflict damage. This can be a launching move depending on the size of the projectile. (This is a gadget made by Trent. The device wasn't really made for battle, but it works nonetheless.)
