Haha, over 15 portraits and still making the same mistakes. Really got to get those proportions down. I might've saved a couple hours, at least.

nice job, your paintings always feel like real paint not like digital art

That's fantastic!! It would make a really nice physical painting, imagining it hanging on a wall
I see no errors tbh

Looks good! Self portraits will always seem more difficult than any other subject matter

Thanks everyone :)
@JJM & Simeon I strive for something of a "classical" feel in my portraits!

Better than my portraits. (not to say my portraits are bad) Despite your supposed 'proportion' issue I think it looks fantastic. I wouldn't have noticed anything wrong if you didn't say so.

This is really good quality! Now I need to make a self-portrait.

@HerrDoktor Thank you. Well, you see it's not a problem so much with the final product as it is with the actual process---in the playback you can see me constantly fixing the location of the eyes and mouth. It's not too bad, but generally ends in a lot of wasted hours!
@Geozermer It's always makes for something of an interesting subject!

Fantastic realism. Perfectly placed lighting and shading.

This looks great. I find self portraits very difficult myself, but one thing that I found helped in the long run is to not try for a likeness so much, and just concentrate on those forms. The way you see yourself is very different from how you see everyone else... too much self-baggage so to speak. Try to throw personal thoughts out and just look at shapes and masses. Hope this helps.
