Usually when they close thier eye for 3 seconds, when they open it you'll see a mouth.

Depending on whether it's an eye or mouth they are attacking with, the attack will either be a laser bullet. (in pic) or a glowing spit ball. (also in pic)

Fun Fact: Jack can be really REALLY creepy if he wanted to be, but he chooses not to. :P
