What a Mystery by LillyLightstar

A very strange and odd dragon, a user of multiple magics. Illusion and Levitation (which can only be used on himself) being his strongest, patheticaly weak Ice magic being his least favorite.

Re: Ahh, the Narnia chronicles have been a favorite of mine for the longest time! Although I did not base that design off of that series, perhaps I subconsciously put an image of Aslan in my head as I created it...?

Re: I haven't actually made up any species yet, which was why I was asking in what creatures people find interest.
What would you want if you were to partake in adoptions? Dragons, hybrids, fantasy creatures, etc.?

Re: Ah yeah, @ShadowPikaboo 's designs are the best! Maybe I should've asked for a Dreamer or Nightmare as a contest prize...
Speaking of, when do you plan to have Weaver go "dark"? :3

Re: You have no idea how much that means to me, thank you so much..! QwQ It really inspires me to do my best and put my all into very painting so create. ^-^

And I would love to help you, but honestly, I struggle as much with drawing humans as do you. 'XD I've only been drawing them for about a year, and every time I have to use a reference or look at myself in the mirror. And I can't even tell you how much of a hard time it gives me to draw the faces and expressions...

I can try to give you some tips though. What's most important when drawing humans, and any creature really, is to understand how the body works. Study images of human skeletal and muscular systems, and pose in front of a mirror. It's important to know how far the limbs can flex and which muscles tense in which situations. When my younger feminine structure cannot serve as a proper reference for say, a full-grown muscular male, I look to one of my boards on Pinterest, which is full of human sketches in every pose and angle, so definitely consider looking up references.
If you do choose to use references, you may notice in sketches that every artist has their own way of structuring the body using basic shapes like spheres and cubes. Knowing how to draw three-dimensional shapes is so very critical when drawing pretty much anything, from humans and dragons to trees and rocks. Come up with your own set of basic shapes that you will use whenever you draw a human.
I would give you more tips, but that is all I've gotten down so far for humans. I am still trying to figure out my methods for drawing faces, expressions, hair, and the sort, so I'll have to get back to you on that. But for now, I hope this helped!

Re: Thank you so much again for your kind words! It makes me so appreciative to know that people are encouraged by my art. ;u;
And you know what I'm going to say to that?
Just DO ITTTTT!!!!! You won't be able to learn how to draw a human if you never start! Once you start drawing them, don't stop! You're awesome at drawing dragons because you have drawn them so many times; do the same with humans, and you'll be confident with them in no time! ;)
