My new bab from @Kole#! His name is Marrik and he's got a complicated relationship with Jophet!
Jophet is a djinn and bound to an item and to serve whoever rubs it, which WAS Marrik. But Marrik's first wish was for more power.
Jophet, being the clever d bag he is said he'd grant the wish but if he gave him the power straight away Marrik would likely kill himself by accident.

Jophet then told him he'd gladly tutor him and upon graduating him he'd grant the wish so long as Marrik did everything he told him to.
Ignorant Marrik agreed.
So the master and servant roles have reversed.
Now Marrik is Jophet's student, servant, pet (when in phoenix form), and even guardian when Jophet's resting in his mask.
Careful what you wish for!
