( @Bababanana and @Awesomeboy, I think it's unfair to control the actions of other people's characters. I've seen you both create actions like another player looking toward you, dropping their weapons, or getting hit suddenly.

It is in my opinion better to say like most of us what your character did, and leave the option for the other to react.

Like Cliff jabbing toward Brycen, Paladin didnt force Bb to have his OC be hit, and still BB CHOSE to be hit, it leaves authentic playing. Which is really good)

( @Gills Yeah I would agree but the trouble is people keep making their characters dodge EVERY attack (Quick glare at Yuudai) So people have to take matters in their own hands. No one wants their character to lose. So they keep dodging, and the fight will go on forever, or we can just call it on our own terms, and if the opponent can believably write their way out of the bind they're in, then the fight can continue. But if they can't, then it ends.) No one will say "I win" without their opponent's consent, they will just force the attacks to land, just to add a bit of fairness.)

For reference, let's look at the Kath vs. Micah fight. Whenever I tried to get a hit or get out of a situation, I used "attempted" leaving Andy to either counter or let it happen. The fight was still relatively short.)

Look, I won't force EVERY attack to land, and I agree, I went a little overboard for Vern vs Pac, but if the opponent refuses to allow even a SINGLE attack to land, then I think it's reasonable to make them land yourself, just to keep it from becoming a dodgefest.)

(The thing id it isnt always about your character. As a writer myself, I aim to make things interesting and realistic (for a fantasy lol)
Take chapter 3 for example, I let Indigo practically faint to death, and I couldn't play as him until Chapter 4's end, and I had no other characters! I had Hitoshi join late ch4, but between all that I was side characters like an old lady for 2 minutes.

But it made the story better, and along with inky, we basically created the foundation for Ch4's objective and setting.

But we let our characters lose, to create the story.

And bout the dodgey stuff, you guys didnt even give anybody the chance to react fairly. It's better to let yourself down than rule over others' actions.

Also Yuudai shouldn't have been able to catch rubio's backthrow knife, it doesnt look cool to be perfect.)

(I think it's only godmodding if you make your character go super sayian and kill everyone in one hit. While I admit that you shouldn't ALWAYS decide what attacks hit, if your opponent refuses to get hit, even in situations where they SHOULD get hit, then forcing an attack to land yourself is understandable.)

Holding the wind tome in his left hand and draws his sword with his right, he speaks, "Lets get this show on the road."

There's a glint in Cliff's eye as the perfect opportunity arises. As Yuudai retreats, Cliff quickly unsheathes his kodachi and tosses it at Yuudai.

Meadow: B-babe? Anyways, I-I probably shouldn't be talking so casually to royalty! What will Fay Ceres think?

Brycen: "well, I'm sorry to hear that...Ah, my apologies for keeping you. Good luck out there, and may your blade be swift, and your actions just. *bows*
