So, early this morning, out of nowhere, an adult brown recluse crawls from behind my pillow and onto an orca tapestry I have above my bed. And I had the courage not to run away (LOL) and observe it. I watched it groom itself like a puppy (X3) and contemplated, "Despite being so small and reclusive in nature, we fear it because it is CAPABLE of killing a man. But it does not harm you unless you're literally about to crush it to death. XD" #kawaii #spider #recluse #blush #heart #starwars #greedo

Lol! I try to tell people that insects and spiders are the ones that should be terrified of us due to our size and strength in comparison, but of course they disregard me and continue to throw shoes at it from across the room. 'XD

I know, right? XD Even though I run away sometimes, I scarcely ever have the courage to kill an insect or any other creepy crawlie. I think I choose the flight option in fight-or-flight response because I don't want to be harmed, but I also don't want to be guilty of bug genocide. <X'D
