A lot of artists notice this happening ;n;
Another sad thing [that happens most often on Tumblr] is that some drawings that take 3 minutes to make [and look like a toddler drew them... Prolly did] get more love than drawings that take 3 hours [and look much better!]

I hope it doesn't keep you from gracing our galleries with your amazing artwork, though!

Sooooo true. I spend 45mins-3 hours on my art, while traced (sometimes stolen art) gets like gold stars and crud. Like we put effort in, not them. I've only gotten two gold stars my whole 3 or 4 years on Colors...

Many people see it. But a lot of people get better at their first hard drawing by tracing it first. Eventually, you can draw that same drawing freehand.
