Dark Flier/Falcon is a-ok! We have such a classed unit from @Aquaheart, whom is allied to #Avia, the country most prominently housed with fliers! I would suggest Avia for it's home of flying families. #Atrus is the darkest kingdom, but is going under a change with it's ruler, so we aren't sure what's going on about that.
So yes, Dark Fliers are fine and you can choose any kingdom you wish, I'm just naming suggestions!
