Another headshot of Maldius, but this time, when he was a dragonet, because it was hard to see the detail in his face in my last picture.
When he was younger, Maldius' scales were much brighter, and his eyes were quite different. However, as time has dragged on and his curse has been allowed to run rampant, his body has warped and darkened-along with his mind.

Well, he's cute now, but just wait till he grows up. It's a shame what Fayveer did to him. Now, this once innocent creature must be destroyed for greater good of the people. And to think that all of it could have been avoided if Zygoren had just seen the truth.
In all seriousness though, the detail on this is great! I love how you did the scales!

Ardens:"Dark magic is a seperate magical discipline from necromancy. Dark magic is the manipulation of life force and, to a small extent, light and matter. Necromancy is the unholy marraige of restoration magic and conjuration magic. One uses restoration magic to rebuild corpses and then the conjuration magic to bind a subdued soul to it. If Fayveer is truly a necromancer, and if he raised himself, then that would make him a dragon Lich, not a draugr."
