Oh heck yea i agree w the desc.
That is definitely an accurate portrayal of an abusive relationship and I'm so glad the show handled it the way they did and made it seem hard for Lapis to let go because that's usually how it is for the victim, they have a hard time letting go. But I'm disappointed at the fandom getting salty like "oh there goes jasper again" and like "nuu we need more jaspis!!!!! >:((((((" like no pls its nasty just stop ok

It is an abusive relationship, but both are the abusers and victims. Neither one is perfect. Jasper wants to be strong & she was when fused with Lapis, but it was unhealthy. Lapis wanted something to take control of and she did, she held Jasper down at the depths for about a year.
