I have three dogs.
Mary, Harper, and Betty.
Mary,, She,,
Shes dying.
Just two days ago, she got really sick.
I went ouside to call for my dogs, and she wasnt coming over, so I went around my backyard to find her, and found her in the back part of my yard, alone.
She could barely walk to me, she looked weak.
She looked skinnier than normal, despite being a chihuahua, which scared me a ton.
I got the impression that she wasnt eating enough, due to my other two dogs being territorial of the food, so I brought Mary inside and showed her to my older sister.
She put Mary in her room, but she was wobbling and could barely stand up on her own, and she wasnt eating.
My sister then called our mom, who took Mary to the vet.
When she came back, we were told that Mary had gotten sick very suddenly.
The vet said that she might've eaten something toxic, or,,
she might have a disease.
My mom didn't tell me what kind of disease it was, but If it was the disease that made her sick, she would be stuck with it for the rest of her life.
she could be treated, but she would always need constant care and attention, but the disease would never fully go away.
I'm pretty sure that even though this disease could be treated, it would kill her.
I dont want her to die.
shes very special to me and my family.
she is the nicest out of the three, and was always open for new people.

we've had her since she was born. I've seen her grow up to the point she's at now.
I'm so scared.
I don't want her to die.
shes my favorite.
shes so special to me. not even eating or drinking. She has to be forced to do so.
shes too weak to do anything.
i dont know what to do.

It would've been nice to know what kind of illness it is..
But hey, don't give up on your little friend just yet.I'm sure she could stay alive and happy with help from your side.I'm sure she wants to stay with her beloved family and will hold on long enough so you could find the way to save her.You can always find a better vet if this one will loose hope in her.
(Been in similar situation,the veterinarian had said that my kitten wouldn't be able to survive even a month.He's 5 years old now.He still can't jump properly,but it's okay.)
You shouldn't have anything to hate about yourself.You did nothing wrong.Please, don't <3

Jyushimatsu, don't give up on Mary. Mary loves you and she always will. Animals DO go to Heaven but I'm sure Mary will stay strong just for you. Endure, and you will stand up for it.
And please don't hate yourself, you don't know how special of a friend you are to me. You're like a sibling to me.

Poor baby! Oh My God, I'm so sorry, hope she's only intoxicate herself and will stand up one day... I know what you feel: When I was, maybe, 8, my cat died next to me when I woke up (we were sunday)... I said: "Hi, Isis!" Then I peted her.,. But she did a strange noise... Just like she tried to say "meow", she was too weak. She died the next second. I cried so much... When I saw her: "Isis?... Isis?!" Then I pushed her (like how we do to wake up someone)... Then I cried a lot... I woke up all my family and said: "Isis is dead!! Isis is dead!! Sis, Isis is dead! Mommy, Isis is dead!!" When I took her, I really saw she was dead! I always cry when I think about her 'cause sge was my first cat...

She'll, maybe, be back to normal when the toxic (thing she probably ate) will go by itself! If the dog eat again, it'll mean it's okay...

I'm not the best when it comes to advice, but i've been through a lot with animals. No matter what may of happened or will stay with her. Stay with Mary as much as possible. and be hopeful, be hopeful and believe. I have had a lot of pets and one of my hamsters recently passed, The best thing to do is to comfort them and be with them just like a person going through something, i'm sure she'll apreciate it. I'm sorry if i didn't help much, i'm not the best when it comes to these things just, try to do stuff that makes you happy while going through this
