based on a drawing i did at 1 am last week, with photo reference to it
i feel the urge to insert her into tiny quest

makes overpopulation seem such a breeze

If I'm not mistaken, then male spiders tend to be smaller than females. That phenemon usually only occurs in species where the female must protect its young from her mate. All other species tend to have the male larger. I wonder how that would work in a species like this one.
Would the human part be more dominant, or would the spider side?
Would your arachno-girl be influenced by her human side when ready to find a mate or would she look for a male who is much shorter than she?
Would she keep him separated from their young by force and even by violence?
